Do you think photopass is a good idea

I've used it twice and have mixed feelings. The photographers are in key spots but most of our great pictures I took myself in non standard areas. Last trip I planned to buy the CD and tried to use the photographers as much as possible. Over six days only got about 160 photos taken and most were duplicate poses, and duplicate locations.
The biggest advantage is night shots since they have tripods and are ready to go.
A friend told me she uses the photographer casually and if she really likes one she will pay the high price and frame it.
