has anyone ever noticed how well our names represent us?
For example......
Dh calls me donut because at night i can be enthusiastic with my powder after as shower.......like a powdered donut.
I think the point is that what I'm posting is not garbage. If you read it as such, then that's your mistake. Something isn't garbage just because you disagree with it. And bring this back on-topic, a vacation destination isn't actually going downhill just because you, and a bunch of other people who agree with you, feel that it is. The point made earlier in the thread is that Disney is doing quite well, with lots of new guests coming in, and lots of returning guests still quite happy with the value they're getting.I would say 99% could not care less what you have to say. You keep posting garbage over and over again. What's the point?
I suspect the clue you're referring to is one you could catch yourself.you keep quoting me. Catch a clue.

Hi Goofy4Prez!
Your points are valid and well taken. As Kelly mentioned above she does have to "cut" corners for her to go to WDW, as do most people including us. Example she mentioned was that could no longer buy the park hopper feature for her tickets. I also did a conservative allocation for a cost for WDW. This is for 2 adults, 2 children, 1 week, value resort, 7 days of tickets, food (counter service), airfare $200 pp round trip) and $100.00 for souveniers. The cost is approximately $3282.00 withOUT tax. Not really inexpensive.
Since we are still arguing about expensive vs. inexpensive, my family of 6 (next trip) can drive down, buy tickets, stay in a condo and eat for about $3000. It is all about what you do, where you stay, how you travel and what you eat, number of rooms for some of us. Perspective. I can't do Universal less expensively, to use the apples argument. My perspective makes this inexpensive for my family.
What I'm beginning to realize, though, is that a lot of the objections really aren't objections with details, such as those you outline, but rather objection to the injection of actualities and other such considerations into the discussion, as a whole.Since we are still arguing about expensive vs. inexpensive, my family of 6 (next trip) can drive down, buy tickets, stay in a condo and eat for about $3000. That is great but basically you are cutting corners as well because staying on site would be much more expensive for you.
Not even a little. Why not just accept that Disney is inexpensive as compared to the alternatives I've scoped out?
.
Cape Cod is a good example. St. John USVI is another (and our favorite vacation destination). Key West is pretty expensive, especially once you budget in dining. Also try pricing out a balcony on an Alaska cruise.

And since this an internet forum you can post your perspective. But judging by the amount of people that have singled you out specifically; it seems like no one really cares what your perspective is.
When they give away a day free for public service or free dining isn't that a ++?
Been to WDW 6 times since 2004 and I am going again in Sept. Like everywhere else, WDW is making cut-backs and changing things because of the poor economy. Going downhill? No, they still offer a ridiculous amount of entertainment and vacation for your $$$ overall and not to mention a great escape from reality.
Yeah, they keep raising tickets prices each August, but they are still offering room & package discounts and free dining. And in reality, how many guests actually buy a 1 day ticket..So some things have changed, but it's far from a downhill slide...at least not yet...![]()

But they have always offered discounts (like free dining) even before the economy went down and even when tickets weren't that expensive...and if you think about it, its not just about 1 day tickets. Even during a package stay, now rates go by night. Every night of your stay could be a different rate depending on the time of year and the day of the week and rates are going higher.
