For some people yea, its totally scary!!!!!! As for me, the first and only time I rode it the shoulder harness thing was slamming down so hard on me that I was practically in tears, so that didn't exactly help the situation. As for me, I don't plan on doing it again this time.

It's not so scary that I'm afraid to go on it. I really love any rides that are scary and I think it's kinda creepy when it all of a sudden gets dark and you feel it breathing down your neck.

I went on it once it's not that scary but I don't see how is has a real purpose. I don't think that it is a fun it is just loud!
