This is my PSA du jour.
www.mymedschedule.com
I'm terrible about remembering to take my pills, and I take several supplements too. I've been doing pretty good since the New Year (one of my annual New Year's Resolutions
) taking them every day, but not necessarily at the same time each day, and this website has helped greatly. I have it set to email me AND text reminders. You can also print out a nice schedule of your meds to bring to your doctor. And I have a nice tidy list to give to the medical staff at mom's assisted living.
You can put emergency contact information on it. What I also did was where it list "allergies", I put "none", but added on the same line the doctor's name and phone number because there's no where else for it.
Limitations...the website claims you can make schedules for other people, but I don't see how without setting up a different account, with a different email address. When you put in your personal information, it shows up on whatever schedule you print out, even if you've named the schedule something else (as in "my mother's name")...it still puts my name/my DOB/etc.
So I do have separate accounts for DH, mom and me. (Unless I just haven't figured out how to do it all in one account.

), you start to think about landing in the hospital and having that kind of information on hand!
My age is showing.
And if I don't take those two Move Free pills every day, my age shows in my aching creaky knees too.

I'm sure there are a lot of people with their own systems that work fabulously for them, but maybe just for the moment, if they haven't thought about other scenarios (being taken to the hospital). Had I not had elderly parents, or taken supplements in addition to the few meds, I may not feel the need for or like this website as much. But...I do.
