Do YOU swim in January?

We're from the mid Atlantic, so I guess we'll continue to be wishy-washy on the issue!

Here's another Texan who doesn't swim unless it's in the 90's outside!!!

DH and DD swam last january - it was in the 60s to low 70's ... too cool for me but they loved it.

We swim, too! However, this last January, we had one day that was really cold. We chickened out, but there was a man and his son swimming in the AKL pool. I said, "You gotta be from New England." He said, "Nope - we're from Canada!"

It's true:) The kids here are still wearing short and t-shirts to school when the temperature is in the low 40's. It would have to be really freezing to keep us Canadians out of the pool

No way!! We're in Florida, and that water is starting to get too cold for me NOW! The kids got in the other day and when I started in after them, I got right back out! I looked at the thermometer, and the water was 74º - too cold for me.

Friends were down from Seattle last November - swam the whole time they were here - I just sat the pool and told them to have a good time!

The Poly pools were too cold in the middle of Nov. But we tried! And we will give it another try this Nov!

We didn't have any trouble swimming when we were in WDW in December. Air was cool, but water at CBR was warm. But then, kids and I swim in heated outdoor pool through the winter here in Texas
