do you store your scrap paper vertically or horizontally?

just curious.

I used to store it horizontally. I had it all laying down and I could see all of it. Now I just recently bought a container with a lid to use hanging files. It will keep safer this way (dust free, no one can spill anything on it since it has a lid). Just wondered how all of you store your un-used paper.

So my 8.5x11" paper is in the hanging files and my 12x12 is still laying down flat on a shelf.

I made the switch to vertical. I use the cropper hopper vertical holders, and love it, I can see everything I have with one glance, and I can get to it all without much fuss. I'm the kind of person that needs to be able to see all my choices.. i like the idea of the hanging files tho!

AUGH -
here goes -
I have 9 Cropper Hopper Verticals for cardstock and dets my manufacturer, then I have an old Trget Cube got Verticle too with all kinds of sets in it.

BUT
I also have those Walmart drawers for all my Stacks and Slabs - therefore those are all Horizontal.
and 81/2 x 11 - solids are vertical in reg Mag holders while the printed stuff is in a plastic container al vertical

Holy Crap Patty :earseek: 9 cropper Hoppers???? Does your DH know about this. You might want to make the Sb room a little larger :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I used to have all my cardstock and pp in file folders in the 12x12 cropper hopper but I've since converted to the vertical storage and I love it! I have 15 plus another five just in case I ever need more. It's so much easier to find my paper and it stays nice and unwrinkled. I do use the file folders for all my Disney stuff....that takes up a whole cropper hopper in itself!

Horizontally. I have all of my paper (12x12 and 8.5x11) in a 12-section organizer I got from an eBay store. It's white cardboard, two columns side-by-side with six 2"x12" cubbies in each column. It was about the best $20 I've ever spent on SB supplies, and I'm thinking of ordering another. They fit perfectly in my bookcase.

I've had it for around 7 months now and haven't noticed any build-up of dust on the papers.

when I get my new shelf (from the going out of busniess sale) My paper will be stored at a slight tilt just like at the store :teeth: Right now it is all in piles split up of 5 shelves.

I do both.
I store horizontally in P3 for cardstock and vertically in paper taker for patterned. I also use some 12 x 12 acrylic trays for certain manufacturer's patterned paper. I have one for MME, Scrapworks, Chatterbox, K&Co, etc. All of my 8.5 x 11 is in hanging file folders on a rolling cart.
