Do you still say the name MGM Studios and not call it Hollywood Studios?

I voted NO but in reality when in converstaion with ppl who are not true WDW fans and don't realize the name has changed I still say MGM bc if and when I say Hollywood Studios they all give me a crazy "Disney built a new park look???" so only to myself and my DD do I say Hollywood Studios!

Still call it MGM when I am talking about it. Its just easier. But I have tried to break the habit of typing it as MGM and putting DHS.

MGM out of habit, just as in the Magic Kingdom we always ride the WEDway People Mover instead of the TTA. Old habits die hard.

Out of habit MGM since that's what the original was and what we're used to. I don't mind the new name but it is much easier just to say MGM and my family knows what I'm talking about. When I say Hollywood Studios I sometimes get the deer in the headlight look

Speaking, I always just called it "the studios"....so it hasn't changed for me. But in my head it will always be MGM Studios.

Yup. When I was a CM (back when it was the Disney-MGM Studios) they emphasized that we should call it "the Studios" for short and absolutely never, ever, ever to call it Disney's MGM Studios or just MGM.

I'm finally starting to get used to the name but still tend to say MGM most of the time. I wish it had just been changed to "The Studios" or something because having the Hollywood part in there seems to confuse people, who arent real familiar with Disney, as to where it is...you wouldnt believe the weird stares I get when I mention Hollywood Studios!

This Is so funny I always call It MGM, and my DS always has to remind me that It Is Hollywood studios. But MGM just rolls off my toung so easly, and Hollywood feels so forced, Its me ok, I know and I still call It MGM,so I have to warn all the CM's out there,have patients with me

It took a long time, but I don't call it MGM anymore. I call it "the Studios". My DH sometimes still says MGM, though.

My friend was reprimanded by a CM for calling it MGM. Not cool! Then I got information from Disney for my trip a year or so ago, can't remember what it was, but it referred to MGM, not HS.

We also call the TTA the People Mover and I can't resist singing "Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit" while in line for Soarin'. Or "Livin' with the Land".

Wow, writing this last paragraph has left me wondering why Disney skimps on "g"s

It depends. Some people I know only know it by MGM, so I have to call it that for them. When I'm not with those people, I call it Hollywood Studios. I only slip up here and there.

I always call it MGM because I haven't been back to it since it got renamed. Even my sis who lives in Orlando still calls it MGM! Difficult adjusting to a new name when you've been used to one for so long!
