Do You Still Ride All The Rides

I find I have trouble with anything that goes backward and try not to ride any rides that go backward. I meant to say the Expedition Everest ride which always makes me sick.

I've never been a thrill rider, so not much has changed for me over the years. I only did the teacups once when I was 40, and I found it so unpleasant that I never went on them again. DH was a thrill rider, but he had a serious reaction to riding the Harry Potter ride that lasted weeks. Now we both are more cautious. There's still plenty of rides that we enjoy so that when we have Grandkids one day, we will return to WDW and hopefully Disneyland (my favorite) as well.

I find I have trouble with anything that goes backward. The Kilamanjaro ride in HS has a backward part while in the dark. I got sick with that one and vowed not to ride any rides that go backward.

Tron does not go backwards, but it does have fast and steep inclines and declines. Guardians of the Galaxy goes backwards.

By the HP ride, did you mean the Forbidden Journey one? I can't ride that one either. I always felt like I was going to fall over backward and couldn't enjoy the ride. I am able to ride Gringott's because there is no backward movement.

Yep I had a momentary lapse of memory, lol.
It's Expedition Everest! I actually love that ride, but the fast backward motion while in the dark makes me sick. Sorry for the confusion. I changed that post to make it correct.
I agree! I really wanted to love that ride-I'd seen Joe Rhode on TV talking about the planning that the imagineers did, but as soon as that ride went "whippy-whirly backwards", so did my stomach, and I made it to a bench after I got off the ride and didn't move for 3 hours. So I've vowed that I'll only go on the ride again if Joe Rhode himself invites me. I think I'm pretty safe!

I can ride most anything, Tron (not very comfortable for me with a bad hip), EE, Guardians, RnR and I love it. No to Space Mountain though, like sitting on the floor. BUT those Teacups? Uh uh, I feel sick just looking at them.

I had given up Space Mountain years ago because I always ended up with a tension headache afterwards. Too much neck whipping!. 5 years ago I rode Expedition Everest for the last time so added to the list. Rock N Roller Coaster was down when I would have liked to ride but I won't be going on that anymore either.

I highly doubt I'll ever do any of the newer rides. :(

Getting older stinks when it comes to things like amusement rides. I get vertigo sometimes and simply do not want to change it going on certain rides.

Right now, Space Mountain is the only thing on my "Won't ride" list. Too hard for me to get in and out of the cars. If I go to DisneyLAND I will ride it, DL has two-across seating that is easier to access.

There are also two rides I don't really care for, but will ride if someone else in the party wants to: Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster.
