I'm from Hawaii so I was exposed to many cultures. I think that has a lot to do with my ease in grasping languages so quickly.

I speak French and know some Japanese and Spanish. I am learning more Hawaiian, Cantonese, Portuguese, and ASL.

English and German
Understanding of Latin (I wouldn't say I'm good enough to speak it.)

Je suis prof de francais.
I have my master's in French.
I have studied Spanish and can understand it but can't speak it.
Very little Japanese. Enough to order food and get an address.

Actually, I spent so much time in Latin and South America that I had picked up a little Spanish, but not nearly enough to survive.

I can speak a little bit of Hawaiian, but can pronounce it better.

I speak French and some Italian.

I speak, read and write in Spanish, speak a little of Italian and Portuguese.

Two years of high school French and at this point I'm using a strange sort of sign language to communicate with my in-laws. My MIL speaks some English, my FIL doesn't. I understand more French than I speak but get easily lost!
