Do you snore?

Had to retrain my body how to properly breathe. Also did some mouth and tongue exercises. Most of us with apnea breathe too quickly which causes the apnea. There is a doctor I used that specializes in reversing sleep apnea. I used his self guided plan and watch his you tube videos.

Used to rattle the windows and then I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, got a CPAP machine about 26 years ago and haven't snored since then. Funny thing that at that point my family had a problem sleeping because they could no longer hear me breath (i.e. snore) and kept wondering if I was dead. Sometimes it is hard to make people happy. 😴 That gave me a whole new life, now unless I unintendedly fall asleep watching TV, I cannot sleep without my little life saver machine.

I've been told I snore. A few weeks ago, I was getting some dental work done and my dentist noticed that my tongue wants to fall back and block my throat. She suggested I get evaluated for sleep apnea, so I saw my doctor last week and she put in a referral to the sleep clinic. Luckily I won't have to sleep there. My sister went through the procedure a few years ago and said they give you equipment to take home and test yourself for a night. Then you take it back and they read the data.
It's way beyond that these days. The new CPAP's have a Bluetooth setup where my sleep clinic, 14 miles away, can read my CPAP's daily history anytime they want and also adjust the setting from afar. It can display on my phone how long I slept, how many apnea incidents I had in the night right down to the time I had them. It also records shallow breathing and something that is called intentional apnea. I'm really not sure what the hell that might be. It is spooky just how many radio waves must be continuously bombarding us. I have the same thing with my pacemaker. That is embedded in my body and they can monitor it from Michigan. I live in North Carolina.
