LOL, I have sleep stuff on my brain 2nite. My wife is upstairs, snoring like a freight train. It happens to her when she gets over tired. I can't even sleep in out spare bed as her father is spending the night.... and he is even WORSE. I'm gonna sleep in my basement on my pull - out sofa!

So... who snores?

BTW, I rarely snore, and when I do, I usually wake up right away.

EDIT: BTW, I am DEAD TIRED and I have to go make the bed in the basement.... so sorry for the poor wording in the poll...... but we will all get the idea! :thumbsup2

Well I have been told that I could wake the dead with my snoring, but I don't believe it. I never hear a thing while I'm sleeping and I am convinced it's really the dog making all the snorting noises........

DH snores. I don't. I'd wake myself up right away. When I'm sick and trying to sleep, I keep myself up with my own congested snoring. DH says I can hear an ant fart in the woods. Despite living with my iPod on my head, I could work for the CIA with my hearing.

DH does not snore...nor do I!!! I want to say we are lucky as I have a very dear friend whose DH snores so loud she sleeps in an spare guest bedroom in their house and she can STILL hear him (both bedroom doors are SHUT)...and this has been going on for years!!

Your other post inspred this thread... well that, and my OP in this thread! :rotfl:

DH snores like crazy. He also grinds his teeth, and has RLS. If I don't go to bed and get to sleep before him, I end up on the couch. No idea if I snore or not, but if I do, I probably can't be heard over snoring, grinding, feet rubbing together DH!

yeah, we both snore. DH just had a sleep study done and I promised him I'd have one. My mom has a CPAP machine for sleep apnea and she swears I need one. :guilty: so we shall see.

I snore when I get over a certain weight (which I am right now) and if I have a cold. My DH snores horrible, all the time. He does use a snore machine (CRAP) and sometimes THAT doesn't help. We often sleep apart. He doesn't snore as bad when he's under a certain weight. We're both going to start bike riding, so maybe that will help.

Ragbrai? :thumbsup2

Neither of us snore. BUT if I am laying on my back reading and fall asleep, I will a LITTLE bit. But I never sleep on my back.

DF snores and apparently I talk in my sleep. What a pair we must make.

Dh snores but has gotten better "with training" over the years. He's learned to sleep on his side, which cuts back on the snoring a lot. Generally a nudge at him will stop it.

He says once or twice a year I'll get my head in some odd position and snore for a few breaths, but it must somewhat wake me up because I change positions quickly when I do. I do talk in my sleep though, DH finds it highly amusing. :confused3

Our son generally doesn't snore, but when he does, it's like a freight train, you can hear it through a closed door and over a TV!

If I start to snore I wake myself up. If I'm sick, I MOAN in my sleep just like... well, you know... how sickness and sex go together, I'll never know! :confused3

My wierd habit is freaking out about my rings. I can't sleep with them on but I have nightmares that someone will steal them and wake up in a complete panic! :lmao: It's not like they are super expensive or sentimental... it's just an odd freakish habit.

Papa, I didn't mean to kill your thread! :badpc:

Papa, I didn't mean to kill your thread!

I'll kill his thread. ;) Don't you worry your pretty little head.

I snore in when allergies are acting up. DH snores when he sleeps a certain way.

I kick him to move him around and that works well, and due to hom sleeping, he is none the wiser i beat him in his sleep. :teeth:

Dw snores and talks in her sleep (sometimes with eyes wide open).

I had to record it and show it to her one night as she always claimed I was crazy.

I just tell her to sleep on her side it helps .Then she hollars ay me for waking her and I'm like well your snoring woke me so roll over.

It's so bad sometimes I can't even watch TV it's so loud.

DH snores like crazy. It's not only that, he then shakes the bed like crazy and ends up sleeping while half sitting up for about 20 minutes. He then lays back down and it starts all over again.

If we ever divorce, this will be THE reason. I can't stand it and have major sleeping problems because of it.

He does not see it as a problem, however, because it doesn't interfere with his sleep.

Sorry--I know what you mean but this just gave me the giggles today.

I'm pretty sure I snore at least some of the time. DH does not. Luckily, DH is usually asleep when his head hits the pillow, whereas it can take me 30+ minutes to fall asleep.

Our bed is getting old and uncomfortable, so lately I've become a "sleep nomad". Most nights I will get up and move to either our guest bed, reclining chair, or couch to work out the kinks in my back. Hopefully a new bed and dropping a few pounds will take care of that.

I snore. Recent sleep study shows severe obstructive sleep apnea. So, I guess it is CPAP for me
