Do you scream on thrill rides?

i scream....where else can you do this? I often get the urge just to shout, so im looking forward to disney where i can let rip!
HAHA

Absolutely.Littlest DD tells me off cos "You scream like a girl!!!!" Uh??

Always!! It's like a reflex for me!! DH always laughs at how hard I scream..he always says to me "Oh yea like you haven't been on this one before!"

MY DH screamed almost on every ride cuz he was truly scared. But the third time on Tower of Terror he didn't. My 8 1/2 year was embarrassed cuz his big strong daddy was a screamer!!!!

I have carefully instructed my two grandsons from an early age on the proper thrill ride screaming technique. If it's a roller coaster, take a deep breath right before the first drop and let it out with a full-out let-'er-rip scream. It gets you through the scary first part and then you can just whoop and holler at will. Some rides, though, don't call for a scream (like R&R Coaster). It's more of a Whoo-hoo! kind of ride. They have also been coached on how to tell the difference. Seriously, though, screaming is definitely part of the fun.

I am a screamer and proud!! I would even scream on the way up to a hill on the flume ride at Six flags. On my last Splash ride I was the only one in our party who screamed, not even my 5 yo did! It does add to the fun!

Can't help it! Have to scream. My dd was laughing at me cause I screamed all through the Big Thunder Mountain ride. :rotfl: Couldn't help myself! :scared1:

I try to keep my mouth shut, but those big drops always get me. Yep, I screamed my first time down Splash Mountain's big drop and there was a little audible gasping on one of those sudden drops in the dark -- hey, I didn't know what to expect at the time! :p

Yeah.... I definitely scream. Then when I see the picture I can't believe my mouth ( or anyone's for that matter) can open that wide!! :rotfl2: I try to be cool but I just can't help myself. Anyway, it's a happy scream!

I scream on Pirates and Maelstrom.....I know....I'm such a wimp! :sad2:

I'm not much for screaming on the rides, but I do let out the occasional "woo-hoo." It doesn't bother me when others scream, except for the people who scream for no reason before the ride begins.

not so much screaming as yelling and cheering, but yeah it completely adds to the fun

Scream and laugh. To those who feel that I ruin your ride, I'm truly sorry, but it's a reflex thing. I cannot control it any more than you can control your breathing.

I screamed during the entire ride on RnR, Dh laughed at me. Hey what can I say, I'm afraid of heights and it was my first upside down coaster :Pinkbounc .

Loved it though, and can't wait to go back on it.

I actually laugh more than scream... It's kind of a laugh/scream combo.

I tend to scream on RnR and Space...I laugh on Splash Mountain when going down the flumes. BTMRR is more of wee and whoo hoos.

I scream plenty! It is sooo much fun! DS16 just loves this! I laugh loudly, too and whoo hoo and do a lot of "Oh my Lord; Oh my God" It's teh best party for me. I feel sorry for those on rides with silence.

I also usually warn someone riding with me (if it's not a family member) that I'm a screamer. They almost always laugh the whole time at me! I love it!

I don't scream, I might let out a few whoos though. I like to enjoy the ride and personally don't feel the need to scream loudly. I don't mind riding with screamers too much though. Screamers only annoy me when they start screaming very loudly as soon as they sit down before the ride starts. I mean save the screams for when the ride is moving please.
