In the 90's Disney Interactive developed Disney Animated Storybooks which were Disney's answer to Broderbund's Living Books PC game series. The series consisted of animated storybooks of The Lion King Pocahontas 101 Dalmatians Winnie The Pooh And The Honey Tree and The Hunchback Of Notre Dame and Toy Story. Much like Living Books you could have the story read to your child or the game had a play along mode. This PC game series was so wonderful and I actually played these games as a child and I thought they were neat

When Disney Interactive made this series of animated Disney movie storybooks I think they got inspiration from Broderbund's Living Books and i'm surprised Broderbund didn't sue Disney Interactive for copying the Living Books line of PC games. Because when I started playing this animated movie storybook series as a child I saw that they were essentially Disney versions of Living Books and even had the same interactive interface as Living Books. It's a shame that Disney Interactive pulled the plug on this series because they were really neat for an interactive Disney movie storybook and they should've continued it more
