Do you redo restaurants or do new ones??

We are just back from WDW and did 8 TS meals. I truly enjoyed all except one. We are thinking of WDW for next year and I'm thinking of which ADR's to redo and which ones to try new. I would do them all over again but I think that would be a bit boring. :scared:

So what do you do? Have 1 or 2 repeats and then all new or do all new ones each trip.

Most of our ADR's are repeats of our previous trips, but we do try 1-2 new restaurants each time. :)

We've been so many times that almost everything is a repeat but we definitely mix it up from vacation to vacation, although we do have 2 that we try to go to every vacation (first and last night traditions).

I try to do mostly new ones every time. We're planning our 5th family trip and there are still so many we haven't done! We do seem to do Chef Mickey's everytime- it's tradition, I guess! There are some that I really enjoyed that I won't repeat this trip because we're taking a toddler. I think we're better off sticking to mostly buffets. :)

It would be great to try all new restaurants each trip but given that we only get to WDW once a year there are 5 or 6 restaurants that are a must visit for us each trip. So we restrict ourselves to 2 or 3 new restaurants each trip.

We try to do mostly new ones each trip. Problem with that...we will eventually run out of new ones to try, but it sure is fun trying all of these new places along with the ones we normally love to go to. That way, it is like a new experience each time.

We do both, we have a few that are always a must and especially with FD, we have tried many more of the TS restaurants. For our trip next month with a free 500 gift card, we will be going to the hoop de do and eating at Narcriosses. We have the Tables in Wonderland card so that will stretch the 500 even more!!

On this past trip we did Akershus breakfast, castle lunch, 1900 PF dinner, CP dinner, CM breakfast, Ohana's dinner and LeCellier. Oh 7...not 8.

Last trip we did CP, Tusker House and Garden Grill.

Now for our next trip I said castle (which meal yet..don't know), LeCellier, CM and CP should definitely be repeats. DH loves Ohana's too and I liked it but not sure about a repeat.

I have a young DD princess freak and DS doesn't care but I know he would rather not do character meals.

We only go once a year if that. I'm thinking of doing the 4 repeats and choosing 3 more new ones. I don't think that's too bad.

We mostly try new ones, other than Kona which is a family favorite and has made it into the schedule for 3 trips now. This next trip we'll have a lot of repeats, only because my mother wasn't with us on our last trip and after seeing my pics, there are several she'd like to try. Still, 2/3 of the restaurants I plan on making ADRs for are new to us.

We are thinking of eating at Kona in May for a dinner. Can you give some suggestions, please? Thanks!!

We are doing three new restaurants this trip and four repeat favorites.
New = Prime Time, T-Rex, CRT dinner
Repeat = Chef Mickey, Garden Grill, WCC, 1900 Park Fare.

i try to try new restaurants each time...though yak n yeti is our personal favorite...so it's a must do each and everytime!:goodvibes

We have three that we do every year: LeCellier, Plaza and Crystal Palace. After last September, we've now added Yak & Yeti to that list. Every other year, we alternate between Biergarten and Rose & Crown. The rest we try to make a new restaurant. This year we are trying Boma (breakfast), The Wave (Contemporary) and going back to Sci-Fi which we haven't been to in about eight or more years. We are hoping we have better results the next trip than we did the last two (Boatwright's and WCC--didn't like either and won't be back any time in the near future).

I'd say we do about 65% new restaurants and 35% repeats. At least that's how it's going to be on our upcoming trip!

We've pretty much do mostly repeats with maybe 1 or 2 new ones (or ones we haven't done in a very long time) thrown in.

We like to try some new and keep some old favorites. On our lst trip we wnt to
WCC Dinner (Always go on our first ngiht)
Kona Dinner (NEW)
50s PT Lunch (have been before but not for a while)
Cali Grill Dinner (just DH and I, NEW)
Chef Mickey Dinner (many times)
CRT Breakfast (always)
LeCellier Lunch (NEW)
Akerhaus Dinner (NEW)
Chef Mickey's breakfast (every single trip ever!!!)

So, it was a pretty good mix.

We've done all the theme park TS restaurants, except Yak & Yeti, and Tutto (went to Alfredo's, though, and would love to try it in it's latest incarnation.)

Any other new spots would have to be at resorts. But every trip, I try to work in at least ONE new restaurant, or one that has gone through significant changes. We haven't been to some of the out-of-the-way places - for isntance, even though we own at Saratoga Springs, we have yet to try Turf Club.

Seems like we always end up at 'Ohana, for instance, simply because we often have someone new traveling with us.

We repeat our favorites and try some new ones.

We attempt to try 2-4 new restaurants each trip. Problem is, oftentimes the new restaurant becomes a "must do" and our ADR list keeps getting longer each trip. We're up to 11 ADRs for an 8 (full) day trip this year. :scared:

We have 3 standard places we've been eating at for years. They are: Chefs de France, Chef Mickey's, and Hollywood Brown Derby. Last year our new places were: Garden View Lounge for tea, Crystal Palace for dinner, Cinderella's Royal Table for dinner, Le Cellier for lunch, and Tony's for lunch. We're repeating tea, Le Cellier, and Tony's this year. The new places we're trying are: Coral Reef, Liberty Tree Tavern, 'Ohana, and Whispering Canyon Cafe. Also going to California Grill, which we've eaten at once, albeit years ago.
