Do you receive any Fp+ confirmation numbers when scheduling?

I have heard that sometimes the magic bands don't always work as they should and I am concerned about getting there and having all our info lost when we go to get into the parks or when trying to get on a ride that we have scheduled a fastpass...when booking, do you receive any type of confirmation of your rides that you reserved fastpasses for that you could use as back-up...kinda like all our confirmation numbers we have received for our resort and dining reservations? Makes me nervous having my whole vacation dependent on something that can be "glitchy" at times!

There are no confirmation numbers for FP+ reservations. You can take screen grabs of your FP+ reservations! but just know that CMs won't always accept them.

If you have a mobile device, take a screenshot of your FPs that are listed in your itinerary for each day. That will save it as a photo on your phone or tablet.

It's basically you have to trust the technology. So, use the tech available to you (phone, tablet, etc.) and keep records with you.

Like a PP said, just be prepared that a CM may not accept a screen shot - for the basic reason that you could screen shot it, go in, change your FP+ reservation, and then go to the CM and say "But see, I have a picture showing I have this reservation.", thus getting extra FP's. Totally not saying that you would do that! But that's how the CM's have to think, so they may or may not honor the screen shot. :)

I wouldn't worry too much about any glitches deleting your fast passes or reservations. We go about once a month and have yet to have anything magically disappear.

During the initial roll-out, there were quite a few problems. But, over time, things have gotten much better. You can screen shot things if you like but these days the chances of a ride-related goof seem pretty low.

I do hear more about problems with resort room doors, but at least then you have front desk staff who can help, and other evidence that you are supposed to be in the room.

Some CM's have always taken screen shots...... on everything but the attractions where it mattered most (7DMT, A/E, TSMM).

In this thread they are confirming that Attraction CMs are asking and accepting FP screenshots:

THIS. There appears to be a gulf of latitude for CMs at typical attractions when it comes to FP+ reservation guest recovery. But when it comes to SDMT and A&E, the answer almost universally has been "tough luck."
