Do you re-use your bath towels?

We use ours for a week. Having said that....

I use two towels - one is for my face/head/hair only. The other one for my body. I'm not even sure why, but that's how I like it! :goodvibes

Me too :)

We use towels for a few days before washing.
We sleep on sheets for a week or so before washing.

Clothing depends on how long I've worn it. If I throw on a sweatshirt in the evening because I'm a little chillly & wear it for a couple of hours, I probably wouldn't wash it until after another wearing or two. Clothing I've worn all day goes to the hamper when I take it off.

Washed once a week. Shower every day. I'm clean everytime I use it.

Same here. Plus, I can't imagine doing all that laundry. Of course it is just DH and I at our house and I only do laundry once a week, but several loads on that one day.

Reuse

Hang up to dry. We have our own location so we know which is our towel. I use two. One is for my hair and face and the other for my body.

If the did not dry between showers we would not reuse them.

I was just coming here to post that I do the exact same thing. One towel for my face and hair and the other for my body. I reuse them probably for about a week.

I grew up in a house that we all used 2 towels...new towels...each shower. That was a LOT of laundry!

When I got out on my own, that changed :thumbsup2 Now, we all use our towels for at least 3 showers. The boys hang theirs on their bedroom doors, DH hangs his on the bathroom door, and mine will usually go over my banister or over the shower rod.

We each have our own towels. Dh uses two, I use one. We don't wash them every day..probably once a week. I'm clean when I get out of the shower, just wet. The way the towels are rehung allows them to dry quite quickly, so no mustiness to them.
I was just at dinner with a friend last night that I had traveled to WDW with some years ago. She had the studio section of our two bedroom villa at BWV. When we got back to the resort on the second day, she was horrified to find that she hadn't gotten all fresh towels/facecloths!!! It was actually kind of funny. I went to my area and gave her all our extras since the one bedroom units have linens for four...and there were just two of us, and we reuse at home as well. She just couldn't wrap her head around having to reuse her towels!!! Still laugh about it to this day!!!
Don't wear fresh nighties each night either!!!! Not unless I have been very hot the previous night and was all sweaty.

We re-use our shower towels. I have a microfiber turbie towel type thing for my hair which I will also re-use. We hang them on our designated hooks so they can dry between uses.

We have a separate hand towel in the bathroom which we use for our hands & face which I change every day or every other day - I'm guilty of flipping it on the towel ring so we use the other end of the towel.

We use our bath towels about 2-3 times each. I have a separate towel that I use for my hair (it's a small, extra absorbent towel made especially for wet hair). I wash that towel once a week.

I put out fresh hand/face towels every morning when I wipe down the sinks and counter tops, and we each have our own hand/face towel (one in dd's bathroom and two in ours). Hubby and I have double sinks in our bathroom - he gets one on his side and I get one on mine.

I use the same towel for about 3 showers before tossing it into the laundry. I have no idea how many time my DH reuses his towel. I use the towel only once for my son, because he only gets a bath twice a week.

I use about 2 towels per week, and one towel for my hair. Who knows how long my DH would go before getting a new towel? I'm always swapping out his when I do mine. I don't think he ever notices!

That's funny - same here! I am the one that switches out hubby's towels, and I'm pretty sure he never notices. He would just keep re-using the same one indefinitely, I think.

I use my towels for about a week, sometimes less. Do those of you who wash your towels everyday, also wash your pajamas/change pajamas daily? I wear my nightgowns several times(3-4) before they go in the laundry. What about sheets? Sleep on them once and change them? I'm pretty environmentally centered and I just can not do all this laundry-use water, soap into the water table, electric and gas use, my time...and on and on. Matter of fact, how does one have time to do this much laundry and get anything else done?

These are my exact thoughts.

I can't imagine doing that much laundry. We are a family of 5 and I only do a few loads per week (usually all in one day). I do 2 loads of clothes plus towels/sheets. It just seems wasteful to me.

We don't change our sheets that often (my mom does hers every other day or so), but we bathe at night so we are clean when we go to bed. DH & I don't sleep in our pajamas ;) so we reuse since they're basically just worn from the shower until we go to bed. The kids also re-wear theirs. They change them when they feel like it, maybe 2 pairs per week?

I grew up in a house that we all used 2 towels...new towels...each shower. That was a LOT of laundry!

This is how my aunt runs her home. Everyone uses 2 towels each shower and then sometimes with sports/exercise/swimming/etc they will wind up using 4-6 towels per person per day. Up to two dozen towels for one family every day seems completely ridiculous to me.

I will re-use a towel 2 or 3 times. My husband, however, won't  Guess who does the laundry around here and guess who doesn't???

Same here as well. I can't imagine the amount of laundry I'd need to do with 4 people taking at least 1 shower every day in my house, and quite often 2 showers what with swimming several times a week/DH playing football a couple of times a week etc!

Absolutely. I do enough laundry already with 5 people in the house. If I had to wash towels everyday as well, I'd be doing laundry 24/7 - and my water bill would be sky-high!!

We use a clean towel for each shower.

We put clean pajamas on every night.

DS's sheets/blankets are washed a couple times a week (he has eczema) and the rest are weekly.
