Do you just scoop it out of the jar & plop it on or do you melt it down first to make it more "liquidy"?

I voted no, not yuck cuz I love peanut butter cups on or in my ice cream. I never thought about putting peanut butter on ice cream. Must be real good if you add chocolate sauce!

I don't but I should. I love peanut butter vanilla ice cream but it is near impossible to find. Haggan Daz used to make it but I can't find it anymore. Everyone wants to mix chocolate ice cream with peanut butter and I am soooo not a chocolate lover.

I'm going to answer for my dh here. He LOVES peanut butter on his ice cream. Every time we go to Cold Stone he gets chocolate ice cream with peanut butter mixed in. He never tries anything new. lol He also does it at home.

Oh man, I haven't eaten peanut butter on ice cream for years. It is SO good. We also used to dump packets of instant cocoa mix on ice cream. I think I need to go to the store now....

Best way to do it is to put it in a blender with some simple syrup, then blend and add simple syrup until the PB is runny

I actually prefer the Reeises Pieces Sundae from Friendlys. It's a lot bigger. It's a five scooper with all the sauces you want with it (PB, Hot Fudge, Butterscotch, Caramel, etc...), plus those wonderful Reeises Pieces on top of all that delicous whipped cream. Even though its only 6:30 A.M. and I am sick with a nasty cold, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

I love the peanut butter "dip" on a vanilla cone. Ya know like the hard shell. yummy
