Do you prefer to make ADRs online or by phone?

I personally prefer to make my ADR's online. I just like to see what times are available and be in charge of when I get the reservation for. On the other side, I have heard if you call you can sometimes get what you want if you can't make the reservation online. I did call one time because I was trying to get a certain reservation for 6 people and the computer kept telling me we would have to be at seperate tables, so I called and the rep said if we made the res. for 15 min. later we would have a table together. So I guess there are positives to both! :)

Online when it works. I am kind of annoyed at the online system right now. I have seen that other people are having the same problem. It won't recognize your Resort confirmation number when trying to book for your trip at the 180 day mark. So, I spent 45 minutes on the phone yesterday making reservations. I wish someone would fix this.

Online- I like that you can look at everything that is available. I have called a few times, and the CMs were really great, but I like seeing all my options if I don't have an exact loctaion I want at that time.

Either. I had success booking all of my ADR's for this year online, but in previous years had to call because the website was so slow. Maybe it's getting better though? :wizard:

Definitely online! I love the ease of it and the ability to try different times/restaurants, dates, for what I'm looking for. It also takes so much less time. I love being able to skip the automated phone system that takes forever because you have to provide all your information first. By booking online, you can also make your reservations at 6 a.m. EST, whereas the phone reservations don't begin until 7 a.m. EST. I like that if I need to make changes to existing reservations, I can pull it up on the computer at any time. I love not having to wait for the phone system and adhere to only their hours of operation.

Absolutely positively without a question ONLINE!!! At 180 days out I called WDW-DINE and made our ADRs with a Dining Rep and no kidding it took about 45 minutes to book 7 dining reservations. I have since had to tweak a few of those reservations and doing it online literally takes a minute or two!
