Do you plan your days??

sorry for going o/t but i am going next week too. could you please tell me what restaraunts you found out were closed. im still thinking over the half board plan

apologies for the o/t but quick answer: Plaza Gardens and Inventions. Walt closed on the Wednesday. California Grill is where the Inventions buffet is going to be so don't know what is happening to their food. (we've got the HB+ plan)

As peejay already did I can also recommend the calendar on dlrpmagic.com.

Usually they have the park openening hours 3 month and show/parade times a few week in advance.

I think the calendar is very organized and helpful.

I am an obsessive planner and list-maker but I released my death grip on our recent trip and had a much better time as a result. I researched EVERYTHING but then made mental notes. I had in mind a couple of 'must-do's' and that was it. I let the children dictate the pace and took more time to appreciate what was there. It didn't matter if we didn't do everything. The kids got to go on their favourite rides, and see shows/parades. Because we didn't have a strict itinerary, we stumbled across unexpected surprises, which added to the magic. Because I usually plan, I get stressed if things don't go according to plan - this wasn't an issue this time because I didn't have a plan.

One of the nicest things about DLRP is that there's not quite the same need to plan as at WDW, after all you can park-hop in 5 minutes as opposed to a minimum of 30 minutes there!

We planned our first trip to make sure we covered all the rides/parades/shows we wanted to see but these days the only planning we do is meals and then just go with the flow.
