Hi Everyone,
I remeber for the millenium celebration that Disney threw a New Year's Eve party on the Boardwalk which required you pay 100 dollars or something to that sort (correct me if I am wrong and I am just dreaming this up out of no where). But, I don't remember if they did this last year or the year before as well. We are going to WDW over New Years and think we may want to spend it at the Boardwalk to watch Epcot fireworks, but we dont want to pay for it. Is there still a cover charge?
Thanks,
Matt

You are probably thinking of the party at Atlantic Dance. The Boardwalk is open and free on NYE.

We were at WDW on NYE 1999/2000 but I don't remember what the boardwalk did. We went to Downtown Disney early had dinner at Fulton's and then went back to our room. They had flashlights for everyone, and emergency lighting everywhere! :) It was weird.

We went to that party at Pleasure Island for NYE 1998/1999 and it was really fun! :) I can't remember what the cost was, but the food was yummy and we saw Huey Lewis and the News, Sister Hazel, and Rick Springfield. :)
