Do you pack clothes hangers when you go on a cruise? Are there many clothes hangers available in the stateroom?

ETA: Just two adults traveling. :flower:

Thanks!

I recall 4 to 6 hangers in the closet.

We had 3 adults and we took extra hangers. They lay flat in the suitcase, so not really taking up space. I am glad we took them. We still ended up doubling up on some.

Dont bother packing them...ask your staterooom host for as many as you need and he/she will bring them right to your room! I think we asked for 25 and had no trouble getting them.

We asked our stateroom attendant and he brought us plenty! No need to pack the hangers, save them for souveniers :)

I have packed them as well as asked for additional. Since I am a total overpacker - I need all I can get :rotfl2: !

I did pack a few hangers, mostly for the kid clothes. One hanger I found helpful on our last 2 cruises, is this metal one I have. I hangs down and has about 4 bars across. Each bar has clips to hold things. I would hang this on the door knob and it was a great place to hang damp bathing suits when we wanted them out of the tub.

I pack my dresses, blouses and whatever else needs to be hung up on hangars in our suitcases. This way, I can just hang everything up quickly as I'm unpacking. The empty hangars fit fine in my duffle bag for the return trip home.
