Do you own any Disney Pins?

I have a lot of them. Some in boxes and some in frames. Haven't counted them in a long time.

I started collecting them in the early 80's.

I find that I am not as interested in the new ones. It was more fun when you really had to search for them. Now you can't turn around without seeing them.

I have quite a good collection now.

One lanyard is nearly full and I have just started to add to a brand new one.

I've only ever traded one pin with a CM in AKL. I really just buy them for souvenirs, not trading.

I love to collect them. I have like a hundred dollars savede up for them when I go on vacation tomorrow.

I have been given many "Daisy" pins. I love them but I don't collect any other Disney pins

I have just 10-15 pins and my most prized pin is my Disney Club pin that I got last year. I guess I like this one the most because the Disney Club no longer exists and I miss it alot. I really used that discount card all the time!!!

LOL! I started collecting on my second trip to WDW in June 2002. I filled 2 lanyards that week. We returned in April of 2004, and I filled 4 more Now I have a total of 7 lanyards! I have bought most of them, purchased a few earseek: ) on ebay and have been given some. I am now working on the state collection. I am totally out of control-almost can't walk by a cart without a purchase! I haven't traded any, not really sure that I will. The most special are 4 older type pins that are attached to a "Mickey head" that were given to me. I keep saying I will wallpaper the room with lanyards and pins! I also have times that I forbid myself to even check on ebay for pins-at least until the credit card bill for the month comes!

PINS--OH MY,,yes I have a FEW (LOL) a lot of TIGGERS and TINKERBELL'S (hummmmm who would have thought )!! I buy them, I give them, I get them from friends,,,and I trade with Cast Members at WDW!!

Not sure how many I have, but it's probably between 40-50. I started collecting sort of by accident. I was on a business trip in Orlando in 2001, but didn't have time to go to WDW. While I was waiting in the airport to fly home I visited the Disney Store and saw the pins there. On impulse I bought three or four and was hooked after that. I mainly prefer pins that are "ride specific" or for holidays and anniversarys.

I have all of the Tower of Terror pins from WDW and DL (even the Tower of Terror event pins from DL) and a few Haunted Mansion pins.

NO, I dont collect them, BUT on my last trip to Disneyland, I got to be in the PARADE!!!!!! AND, afterwards the CM gave all of us a "limited edition" Blue Fairy Pin !!!

It started so inocently with two given to me at check-in....

I'm not a complete junkie yet but I can see how easy it is to get sucked into it! For now we each get one on every vacation to remind us of that particular vacation. I don't trade and I know nothing about which ones are worth more, etc. I just have them for memories.

I have a few...most of mine are CM pins...stuff you cant just buy in the parks. I think they are nice, but I had to restrain myself from getting addicted when I wasa CM...they get expensive when you start buying lots of them...

I started trading and collecting them on a WDW trip in 2000, and stopped in 2002 - it was getting expensive. I miss doing it though. I like WDW specific pins: the four parks, lands, rides, LEs. My daughter collects character pins.

I have somewhere between 150-175 pins. I started with pins from the different resorts I'd stayed at, Snow White pins, and then went from there...

I have pins that I've received from some very nice DISers. One of my favourites is my Zorro pin, given to me by a DISer, JamesD.

I have some that were given for specific events/purchases. I have a couple that were given to me by friends. I bought some I like of places I have stayed or for events/holidays where we have participated. DH likes Mickey, so I get those to remind me of DH. I don't really have that many to trade. When I wear my lanyard, except for a set of 4 I got a long time ago, those are all tradables. The rest I have here I just like to look at.

One poster was right in my thinking. They are affordable and make good gifts/memories.

WE have bought many and had several given to Megan in parks. Tigger gave her one last year when we had lunch with him. I have them displayed at home on foamcore covered in felt. They make a nice display.
