Do you own a Dyson Vacuum?

Hi Everyone!
I am planning on purchasing a new vacuum and would like your impressions of the Dyson if you own one.
It is going to be quite an expensive venture, and I want to make sure it is not a waste of money like my current Fanthom piece of crap!
Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly I have never heard of that brand (that I can recall). I currently have a Hoover and have had Hoovers all my life and love them. Hopefully somoene else can help you

I live in the UK & I bought a Dyson when they first went on the market. It is the best cleaner I have had, my house is cleaned regurarly but the first time I cleaned upstairs I had to empty the cleaner it was so thorough.

That is exactly what I wanted to hear!
After I posted this, I thought that I should have probably put it on the UK board instead of here. From my understanding, it is a very popular brand in the UK.
I appreciate your opinion.
