Do you match your outit with the park?

YES!!!! I love to pick outfits that coordinate. My DD4 loves it and my husband is a great sport!

Sorry for the picture overload. :) I've already started coordinating our outfits for our 10/13 trip!!!

That is so cute! Love it! :flower3:

You're having WAY too much fun with this. ;)

Seriously, you guys are adorable!

Awesome MIRANDA DANDA! Your pictures look great & you all are adorable!! (I havent really gotten DH to be a part of it...)

I used to dress my kids, then they helped make t-shirts for the last trip. I will be showing my girls your pictures for inspiration. Love the yellow & red....I want them to do some 'casual' Disney Bounding (not heels and fancy outfits - not practical & they will be 13 & 15...) but fun cute color coordinated stuff!!

Thanks for sharing :)

I made t shirts for my mom's first Disney Trip - it was so much fun - both the making and the wearing of them. The shirts were somewhat coordinated with the park we were visiting each day. The designs were from the DISign thread here on the boards.

Mostly i dress for comfort.. tank, shorts, sneakers. Though we do dress for getting wet the day we plan to ride kali. I also always wear my piglet shirt on our crystal palace day. When we went with DH's whole family we did our one family brunch with matching shirts which we each had our favorite chatacter and got our picture un front of the castle which was a really cool pic. Maybe when i have kids i'll concetrate more on coordinating them. DH however forget it, only time he matches anything is when we got to EPCOT since most if his tees are animee

Miranda Danda, I like your style!
I wish I could get my family to cooperate and coordinate like that.
My favorites were your Whispering Canyon dinner, the Monsters Meet and Greet and your Mickey/Minnie theme!
You guys are adorable.

Smitch, I've seen a few of your photos before. Such a cute family!

Expat, wow, you really went all out! Nice shirts!

Sadly, we have never matched for any park day. Just a mishmash of comfy park-style t-shirts and shorts.

I totally do this and we have a blast with it!:thumbsup2 I feel not an ounce of shame, over the years we have so many extra magical moments because of it.

My kids are now teens and they still want to do this because it is now tradition. Now I can't get them to wear the stuff they did as kids, but we match our shirts thanks to the lovely ladies on the Design board. The flip flop on my avatar I just made to match our Esty zebra Minnie shirts. I am making matching flip flops for all the girls. I have to make 90+ shirts for this upcoming trip and have to make at least 5 sets of flip flops.

First trip DH refused to match with me and our 3 DD's but people gave him such a hard time..."where's your green?" Where is your matching shirt?" and so on and so on. After that he gave in, and even convinced his family one year on a GG trip to do it with us. We all did it and it was fun...even the most reluctant of our group ended up having so much fun, they bought DVC after our trip and he was not even a fan of Disney!

We are even bringing DD's BFF and she is going to match or not come:lmao:
No she will love it! She has never been to Disney before and has seen our pics from past trips and said she would love to match. It is a surprise trip for her, so hopefully she was telling us the truth:lmao: We are all wearing birthday shirts, celebrating her 1st Disney Un-Birthday. I can't wait...color me an estatic Dork, to me Disney is just different and I do a lot of things there that I never do anywhere else. I even got a shirt for DH- What Happens in Disney Stays in Disney!

Love matching and proud of it!::yes::

I have all my shirts mapped out for each park, this makes for great pics. In the past I also have had us wear special matching sets for character dining or Poly Dining too.

I didn't read the whole thread, (ok, now I DID go back and read it. When I originally posted it I hadn't!) but I admit that we do dress for the park. Over the years we have gathered quite a few shirts. There are three of us and we usually get one shirt each year that all three of us like, usually in different colors. Then we wear them in subsequent years. Our two favorites are our Soarin' shirts and our TOT shirts. Those, of course, are all the same. But we do have some Four Parks, One World shirts that are each different colors, same design. We don't wear the same EVERY day, (maybe once in each park) but its kind of fun to see the pics with our shirts.

I intend to...

Now.... Which park is Nemo?
Could I get away with it in Epcot?
(Going for the 1st time in LESS than 4 weeks :) :) :) )

I've worn a Disney character outfit to Universal or Universal outfit to Disney without giving it a 2nd thought. A CM/TM will usually point out my gaffe. :rotfl: It's just not something I think about, when getting dressed. I do think it's cute when families are dressed in a similar theme.

I love dressing as peter even though I'm a girl ( I'm playing him in our school play) and going to every park with my BFFs dressed as tink and the darlings

Just so you know, adults (including teens) are not allowed to wear costumes in the parks. The exceptions being Star Wars Weekends and MNSSHP.

I think I've thought about which shirt to wear based on the park once or twice, but not consistently.

I like to wear my safari Mickey hat when going to Animal Kingdom.
perhaps my German mickey ears for Epcot.

Absolutely! Mine is a little weird, not sure I would call it "matching the park" but more of a "reflection" of how that park makes me feel.

DHS: Not a huge fan of this park, but it is always our first park because I like to kick off our trip with Fantasmic. So... I always wear an Epcot shirt to DHS because that is where we go on days 2&3. And the shirt must be blue (represents Sorcerer Mickey's hat).

Epcot: I wear silver ball earrings and a bracelet that has silver balls on the tips of the cuff and another one that has silver circles and balls all the way around - this, to me, represents Spaceship Earth. On day one of Epcot I wear the same little blouse that I have worn to Epcot for the past 10 years (yes, still in style). On day two I wear a shirt/colors to represent a country at WS. Last year was Morocco. This year will be Norway.

AK: I wear safari style clothes (but NOT the boots - I choose flip flops, lol)

MK: Day 1 I wear a green shirt, a frog prince necklace, and jade earrings, all because Tiana is my fave princess and I do the M&G with her on our first MK day. Day 2 I wear pink to coordinate with my pink Minnie Mouse watch and my pink Mickey Mouse earrings.

On the day we leave to go home I wear a Mickey t-shirt.

I'm 46 y/o and I guess some people would view this kind of strange. My DH and both my DS think it's kinda cool.;)
