Hi everyone....
I'm just curious about nice places to live here in the USA. I live in New England and have seriously had it with the weather. I really don't think I can handle another winter. I hate the cold!!!! I'm tired of being stuck in the house for 5 months out of the year and worrying about who's gonna be sick this week. Is there such a place in this country that has perfect weather and little sickness? Its a dream destination of mine I'm in search of. Feels like a deserted Island is the place for me!
(Can you tell I need SPRING!!!!!!)
Thanks............

Yes. I live just south of San Francisco. The weather is fabulous. Mostly 60-80 year round and little humidity. We have the beach, skiiing and mountains a few hours away, museums, shopping and great FOOD! Finding a way to afford living here is a struggle though.

Of all the places I've lived, Raleigh is my favorite. I do wish it was closer to the ocean though.

Way, WAY too cold. I'd be happy with the Florida climate, I don't even break a sweat in the 90+ degree August heat out there *sigh*

I love where I live, but it's hot hot HOT in the summer.

I live in Mass too. Its not that hot in the summer.....maybe one week out of the whole summer it gets hot. I wish it would last!!

Sounds like south of San Fran is the place for me. 60-80 year round?? Thats a dream!!! I bet you don't have mosquitos either huh???

I live in New England too, and I like the change of seasons. I have to say, as I get older I have less tolerance for snow once Christmas is over, and can definitely see DH & I being snowbirds some day...zipping down to Florida from January 1-March 15.

I live on the shoreline in CT and I love my town, I love my house, the schools are great, lots of things for our kids, I love everything about living here. BUT, I can't stand the weather just like you. I wish we had summer all year long. I dream of moving south but can't bear to leave my parents & sister. I've already checked with them, and they aren't willing to move :)

i hate where i live. it's cold 9 months out of the year, then it rains for 3 months.

I really love many things about New Jersey - close to NYC and Philly, North NJ is mountains, we have the Jersey shore, south jersey is farm land. It's easy finding a good job both in NJ, and the nearby big cities. I also like the political climate and how its very socially liberal. However, the cost of living is outrageous; home prices and property taxes are through the roof. Therefore, when I do settle down, I will probably move to another state.

But I love living here!

I don't live anywhere warm all year, nor in the US..

But, I LOVE where I live. It is like a little piece of Europe all in one city..We have so many dimensions to this city. Schools are safe, friendly, bilingual..

The snow gets to you, but it is so beautiful, and such a part of winter. Our summers are scorchers, and I LOVE that...

I really enjoy living here. I think we are so free, so clean, so diverse.:goodvibes

I LOVE where I live and I am heartbroken that we are going to have to move.

No skeeters, or other bugs for that matter. :hippie:

I love my small town here on the east coast, it's also the lobster capitol of the world.

I don't really mind the weather but I get to escape because my family has a house in Florida.

I'm a Kentucky girl...I love it! We've traveled to many places in the U.S. and I have to say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I do, however, hate Louisville. Traffic is terrible, the school system is awful and people are rude!

My husband was transferred to L-ville a few years ago with his job. We'd love to get back to Frankfort or Lexington. Central and western Kentucky are much nicer than L-ville.
