Hi ~ I always pick up a park map, but it occured to me that I never read them! LOL!

Do you still look at the maps? S

I usually pick up one just for show times and schedules when I'm there. But going a few times each year for a while has made me pretty familiar with the parks.

I only pick them up at AK and MGM since they are not laid out as nicely as EPCOT and MK.

To me AK is the hardest to navigate because you have to go into a world and then backtrack to get out - no real flow.

I agree about MGM. I swear the map of the NY St. area doesn't follow the actual lay of the land.

We always get the park maps as we enter and I usually pull it out of the fanny pack for the first time when I get back to the resort. You'd think I'd realize that I don't look at it, but I still get another one the next day. Go figure.

Now, my kids will each want their own map and they will use them constantly even though they really do know their way around. I guess mine is just a backup copy in case one of theirs gets ruined. (There...now I feel better for taking one.)

The only park map we use is MGM - don't know why, but that park confuses me. The other parks we just use for show times.

I get them mainly for the show times. And I sometimes use the MGM one also because I also get confused in that park.

Also Animal Kingdom with the trails and the exit to the Safari can be a bit confusing.

Oh and for the World Showcase in EPCOT.... We always end up arguing about the order of the countries. ;)

Ok, I guess I do use the map in all places but MK. I know where everything is there by heart.

Have Fun!

I always get the park map. Even though I know the park, I still look at the map to see where I'm going. I find it to make the trip more fun. It adds to the excitement of being there.

I look at the map mainly for the show times, now. But, I pick up a few never used maps to take home. Those go right into my luggage right away. Also, I use the park map to look at over dinner when I am solo. I still carry one around the park, even though I might not use it much. I like to check if I missed anything that I wanted to do.

Unless there is a major change, I never look at them. I do sure pick them up though

I always get one and usually use it for ATM and restroom locations. No matter how often I go, I still have a habit of losing my bearings. ;)

I usually pick one up at each park plus the show time guide. I generally never even open the MK or Epcot one, but do look at MGM and AK. I really pick them up b/c I take them home and cut them up for use in trip scrapbook.

I take a copy of each park map home so I can look back at park hours, attractions, etc.. year to year.

No. Neither do my kids. WDW is like a home away from home.

I grab them for show times, etc. The only one I use to navigate with is AK because we do not frequent this park as much as the other 3. MK, MGM, and Epcot don't really need them for navigation.

I thought I was the only person who got lost in NY at MGM. I am always going the wrong way in that area, no matter how many times I look at the map.

I get confused at AK too. I always forget how to get out of DinoLand and I usually end up in Asia when I'm trying to get to the oasis area.

I get the maps mostly for restroom locations and showtimes.

look at the entertainment schedules and then bring them home for our scrapbook.
