Do you live in fear of your cheese grater?

I don't live in fear for my fingers but my finger nails! I have long finger nails (I did conservatory piano intensley for 18 years and was never allowed long nails so im enjoying them now) Ive had my nails chip off alot with the grater I have one like the pampered chef ones you guys showed but I bought mine at ikea for $2.00 and it works awesomely!!!!

My store recently started carrying pre-shredded cheese for the same unit price as block cheese. I made the switch to save my fingertips.

I also buy shredded cheese and shredded cabbage. I didn't even own a cheese grater until someone felt I needed one. So it takes up space in my drawer. I also have a potato masher I never use. We're lazy and eat our potatoes baked.
