Do you like Tower of Terror?

This just in from the Walt Disney World Underground news service.

Disney Imagineers are considering changing the famous ride "Tower of Terror" into something a little more spectacular for the whole family. The supposed plan is to re-name the ride "Tower of Disney". Plans include turning the elevator-dropping simulation mechanism into an actual elevator that will take people up to the top of the 199 foot building so they have an exotic overhead view of the entire Walt Disney World Resort area. The building will also undergo a DRAMATIC facelift to look more like a giant statue of Mickey Mouse instead of a lightning-struck 1920's era hotel.

So far this has been a "go" for all imagineers, as well as Michael Eisner. This is planned to take place in late fall of this year, and the new ride will be unveiled summer of 2005.

I honestly thought I as going to DIE on that ride! Only 32yrs old and I thought I was going to have a heart attack! LOL
But seriously, I think that is one of the big draws to MGM isn't it? It's not for me to do again, but so many people LOVE it. Wonder if they have some other "thrill ride" planned instead? Seems like that is what so many people are looking for.

Hey everyone! De-lurking time for me now that the weekend is over! I've been reading up on this miss cleo person and I say we should ask her, she sounds smart! Oh yeah, I was up there this weekend, and I heard there were going to be a few new changes around WDW, but the castmembers I talked to either didn't know what or wouldn't tell me! *pppppppppppfffffffffttttttt* that's to the cm's who won't spill the beans for me!
