Do you like Tony's Town Square Restaurant

Love it. It was one of the better meals we had last year, and we're planning on going back next year.

Adore Tony's. We spent a very enjoyable birthday celebration there last year on a MVMCP night. On longer trips we never miss it.

Tony's is one of our favorites. Have an ADR for our upcoming trip. We actually like it better than Alfredo's in Epcot.

We thought it was ok. We like the actual restaurant more than the food. Definitely had worse at WDW.

We did not enjoy our experience there and wouldn't go back. But others love it.

If you don't mind, could you tell me what you didn't enjoy about Tony's? We are going there the first night we arrive. I have been trying to get Liberty Tree Tavern but haven't been able to get a time so as for now we are going to Tony's. When I tried to book a dinner at MK all the other places were full for the times we wanted but yet Tony's had a lot of times. It made me wonder at the time if Tony's was not a well liked place.

I've been there twice and I really enjoyed it both times. We are eating there on our next trip, in 29 days. :thumbsup2

Hi all,
On all my trips, tonys is the first meal we have when we get to wdw. Tonys is one of our most loved places to eat!

My DH and I love going to Tony's. In a few weeks we'll be dining there for our third trip in a row. It's kind of like a tradition with us now. We've always had good service and good food. It's a nice setting too! The only thing I find wierd about it is the price they charge for basic spaghetti and meatballs , but I never get that when we're there, so it's not really an issue for me . :rotfl2: Enjoy it! Hopefully you'll have a good experience there too!

We're eating there in a few weeks because dd is a Lady and the Tramp fan.

How are the spaghetti and meatballs? What is your favorite dessert there?

Well, there are a couple of reasons we didn't like Tony's. We were with a large group of around 13 or so and they were not accomodating at all even though we had ADR's for that number. We felt the service was terrible. Now I know it is hard to wait on large tables but we all dine out a lot together, like every Sunday after church, and this was one of worst experiences as a group. We also felt the food was not good for the price. I love Disney and I do not like saying anything bad about it, but this is just not where we would return. Like I said earlier, others love it and you might too! Good luck!!

We tried it last year for the first time and loved it. So we are eating there again this October!

We were there last week. We thought it was okay. The food was fine, not great, but fine. The service as a little slow on drink refills, but the food came out hot. The best part is when they take your autograph book to the kitchen for Lady and the Tramp to put their paw prints on. Very cute.
We had the free DDP, so we can't complain about prices. However, we would not pay to eat here. Not that is was bad, just that we did it once and now we need to do others next time.
PS-my son loves spaghetti in a can and loved the child's meal here.

One of the reasons it is probably not full is that it is in the front of the park....so it's a pain to get back to if you are in the middle of your touring plan. We tend to eat there on the way in or out or just before a parade. If you time it right....your kids can go right outside and enjoy the parade. (If you get there early you can ask for a window seat. I don't know if they seat on the terrace anymore). My kids sat on the curb and were pulled into the parade around the circle by one of the princesses....(bad mother that I don't remember who).

My kids like the food because it's simple. It's not a favorite of my DH and I, but we know the kids will eat a good meal there.

We ended up there unplanned on our last trip and it was a nice experience. We sat out on the patio / terrace thingie - the service was fine and the food wasn't horrible. In fact, I can't remember the food at all so it must have been remarkably average. But the environment was nice. Nothing in my mind that keeps me from wanting to try it again.
