Thank ebay (where I don't need to be!) for the pictures!

That's the Wilma Flintstone Collection isn't it? LOL I don't care for it personally but to each his own.

This new look was here about 20 years ago. lol

I have some turquoise that could be restrung. :)

I like turqoiuse and coral, but the big chunky stones are not really my style.

Which is a shame, since a client of mine that I often barter with is making this type of jewerly now. I could get it for a steal if I liked it more. I'm hoping she might tone it down a bit, still using the turqoise and coral, but less clunky looking pieces.

I love the look of the silver, turquiose, and coral! I wonder if it's cheaper in the southwest?:D

Yep 20 years ago! My mom has some gorgeous pieces from then!

The Wilma-Flinstone collection huh, sounds like you should be in advertising Mermaid:)

I personally love it too...the bigger and clunkier the better....Snoops we should talk with your client;) ;)

I thought this thread was going to be about Italian charm bracelets, but I guess that was last spring.

I love turqoise and silver, I own quite a bit, but I'm not crazy about the big, chunky pieces. :) CVS has an excellent selection of SouthWestern jewelry. Their prices are great and the quality can't be beat. They have designer pieces too. You might want to check out their website for some great styles and pieces. :)

I rarely like the big chunky stuff either.

DD13 LOVES this style of jewelry and DD11 likes some of it also. DD13 has always been a liked the unusual and doesn't care what the other kids think. I think that's terrific!:D

Beauty, I'm sure my client would be willing to talk, but you'll need a fistful of money. :) She was recently featured in In Style magazine, and her stuff is NOT cheap! If I didn't barter with her, I sure wouldn't consider paying that much for stones that don't cost that much to begin with.

But her stuff is unique, I'll give her that.

yep, my Mom has had things like this for at least 20 years, she really likes it but I would never wear it.

I saw some lovely torquoise stuff at my hairdresser's today (she also sells some jewlery at her shop.) It was very delicate, not at all clunky!

I almost bought a necklace, that had a cross on it. My husband should be proud of my restraint today (as long as he doesn't ask what I spent on highlights and hair products, LOL!!)
