Do you like the name of your street?

My address is a little weird. With out giving out the numbers I live at #(house number) West #th Street(which is the same number as my house number.

Mine is the name of a tree, as are all the streets in my development.

Mundane, yes, but it's hard to dislike a tree's name.

You must live near Phoenxiville/Kimberton!?! I recognize those names! Of course it could be another area! I live on Summerdale Lane and folks are always asking how to spell it??? ....Summmer...like the season. Of course there are only 2 road in our development and the other is Rosewood Trail....I like that name better...oh well! I use to live on a road that started wiht Saint and folks were always like St. or Saint...does it matter?

How would you like to live on Boynton Street? Every time I say it I think of the teacher on Ou Miss Brooks. I know there's a Boynton Beach in FL. but I still think it's a dumb name.

I guess I have a thing for trees as I've lived on Willow, Elm, Chestnut and now, Walnut.:p

I've got a street called Westgate next to me! :)

I hate the name of my street. I liked my street in FL better...Erica Court.

I don't really mind ours........it's "our last name" circle!!!!!! :teeth: We live on my Pa-Paw's land, and he named the road "last name" Circle!!!! It's pretty cool, people always ask me how I got a street named after me, LoL!!!!!:teeth:

I never thought about it. I live on Lake Underhill Road, now that I think about it I am not sure I like.

I grew up on Cedar!

I live on Friends Lane.....the people aren't very friendly for the most part they keep to themselves. If your lucky you'll get a hello or a wave once in a while. Some are nicer than others some are the neighbors from you know where.

Ours is Mae Lawrence Ave. We were quite surprised when an elderly woman from down the street gave us a check at our yard sale & her name was Mae Lawrence. :)

I want to live on a street named Paradise Rd or Friendship Lane. I like nice street names..

But I wont buy a house just because I like the street name...so whatever I get I get;)

We live on Briarwood Cove.......I like it because it reminds me of the Briarpatch on Splash Mountain.

I am happy to live on the street that I do. It is named after an astronaut who, unfortunately, perished in the early days of the space exploration in a tragic accident.

Two streets I used to live on was Kratochwill and Patsie. I used to get a lot of second looks over these. You know you're in trouble when you're asked for your address and immediately you start saying "K..R..A..T..."

I like it. It's named after the first person to live on our street, who's house is actually still standing today, almost 200 years later. It's history. And his house, and the tree with the ax he threw in it that got stuck, are just down the road from my house which is kinda cool.

I used to live on a street called Stonegate, the biggest question I got was, is that two words? So I got into habit of saying "123 Stonegate, one word".

I now live on a street that most people think there's a "t" in the word. So I have to say " 'something' court, no t".

It's kind of a pain, but like someone else said, I didn't buy the place because of the name of the street!
