I grew up eating it, so I really like it. I know what it is, how it's made, and how gross it seems, but it is comfort food to me. DF doesn't like it, so I have to go home to eat it. He won't let me make it.

My dad would fry spam in butter (yes, butter) and put american cheese on it and have it in a sandwich. I haven't had one of these since he's been gone. Thanks for the memories!!!! Oh, and they were pretty good too!!! I also used to make a dish with spam, broccoli cheese soup and Bisquick which I haven't made in years. It was also good. Have to look that one up because I'm sure my DH has never had Spam.
