No one can explain the things that people do.
I can't explain it, and I know neither can you.
Why is there always such a constant quest for power?
Why would someone drive a plane into our Twin Towers?
Why is there so much fighting, so much war, so much crime?
Why can't people be good, find a better use for their time?
Why when one does wrong do many have to pay?
It's not fair for younger children to have to live this way.
It's not fair we lose our loved ones, those close to us at heart.
Will we ever have peace? If so, when will it start?
Why people do what they do, could someone please explain?
Because the way we're living now, it's just not humane.

thank you.................... i would've made it longer, but i was thankful that the section that came to mind easiest made sense and was within the limit........................... i may write more and just post the entire poem sometime.................
