I love it, but I'll eat anything.
It's probably worth pointing out that France is a pretty big country, and there's a whole lot of kinds of French food. The creamy food in Paris is what I think of as French food. But Alsatian cuisine is often sauerkraut and meat, washed down with beer. Provence uses a lot of herbs, and less cream. Southwest France has more of a Spanish-style cuisine.
And unlike America, each region seems to do a better job of maintaining its individual character.
