Do you know yarn or fabrics?

I'm looking (online - so I don't have them "in hand") at yarn from a particular manufacturer. One is made of rayon and the other rayon crepe. What's the difference? What's the difference in feel?

What are you making? I'm knitting socks right now using a wool and nylon blend.

I haven't knitted or crocheted with rayon crepe but in general crepe is more delicate and doesn't hold up as well when washed. It usually has a fantastic drape to it though.

Can you link to the brands you are thinking of using? I might know something of the exact yarns you are speaking of

Great Adirondack yarn is the brand... The two types are Heavy Frills (rayon) and Frills (rayon crepe)

The problem is that I had bought two skeins of the Heavy Frills and I like it a lot. I want to get more but I can't find any Heavy Frills in the color I want. I've found the Frills variety online and I'm wondering how different it is.

The cheapest I've found is around $15 per skein so it's kind of expensive.
