Do you know anybody over age 90 who is still driving?

My great-grandfather is 92 and still drives, although he really shouldn't be. He's been veering across centerlines lately and stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake when rolling into his garage, hitting the wall. My dad and grandfather are going to talk to him this weekend and I suspect great-grandpa will not have his license in his pocket come Monday. It's gonna be ugly!:scared:

DH's grandmother turned 90 last year and she still drives. It is AWFUL! She can't clean off the snow so she drives real fast down the road and slams on her breaks to it will "fall" off.

She can only make right turns due to a stiff neck and can't hear a single thing!! Unfortunately our licenses are good for 6 years here!

She doesn't stop at stop signs that "were never there before therefore aren't needed" and drives what ever the speed was on a road back in the 60's/70's even if they have been drastically reduced!

I would never, never ride with her! I feel bad that she still drives her friends around and puts them at risk!

My Grandma drove until she was about 85. THe last few years she was scary. Liked to go fast, and break late. The minute I got my permit, I always offered to drive when she'd pick me up. (Not sure if it was totally legal, but I drove slow lol)
We kept telling her not to drive, she even did after a fall!
Finally, she had to stop after she got into a car accident. Her car was totaled, and we refused to take her shopping for a new one.

She still complains every now and then, but its for the better!
