Do you have to eat at BOG to meet Beast?

As the title says

sort of. currently there is no meet and greet with the Beast. Unless things have changed. In the past, after dining there, you could do a meet and greet with the Beast and it was really fun. In the last few years, the beast makes a quick walk through the dining room, looks in the other rooms. Reports have said that the beast may stop by a few tables, but mainly just a walk through.

Yeah, he just walks around the tables. He doesn't interact with anyone other than waving and bowing.
We ate there once in August and once in December. In August, he stopped briefly enough for us to grab a selfie with him. In December, there was a CM with him really rushing him through the dining rooms. Not a good way to grab a picture at all.
Aside from BOG, there's no other way to see the beast, other then to catch him in a parade.

As others have said, there is no 'for sure' way to stand near beast and get a picture or autograph. He barely stops to wave at BOG.

There is no way to “meet” the Beast these days. Best you can do is “see” him at BOG. You can see him in the afternoon parade for a lot less.

They used to have a character meetup photo opportunity with the beast inside before the dinner. Did they permanently do away with that?

They haven't had that at least since post Co-Vid reopening. Prior to that, after the meal you could do a M&G with the beast. Now, the beast just walks through the dining rooms on occasion.

If you look at the Be Our Guest page they don't even mention the Beast. There is no guarantee you will even see him walking through the room ~ tough "friend" to fill.
