Do You Have Quest Burn Out?

Just curious.....how many ppl are tired of ripping around doing quests?

Me, just did the Buried in Treasure Magic, and the normal weekend quest, almost to many this month

I didnt vote because you didn't have a "sort of" selection - I can not get in this morning (as usual). The quests can get long - having more than one quest with more than ONE of the same game (yes, I know capture and ship battle are technically different, but both are pirates....) - that is tough, in my opinion. YET - I do like running around on quests and finding hidden stuff.

Love the quests, but I think they should change up the prizes on the weekly host quests. I have no use for the prizes this month. I really liked the quests they had for rooms, pirate hat, things that you never could buy before. Even the ATIS pins, dog/cat/mountain pins...you get the idea. It made them more fun because you couldn't get those prizes any other way. Questing for previous buyables or current buyables is not so fun...

I do wish they would leave out the mini games on these as I always have to repeat pirates over and over. (and I am lousy at capture the flag)

I agree new prizes would be great although the magic was nice for those who did not have it!

I only did the quest for the 500 credits and buried in treasure on one account.
I'm tried of them already. It's been looong hard night for me.

Well my biggest issue is the two games of pirates and the high score needed. Bad players will have a hard time getting 170 in battle ship. For a pin that was free with kelloggs that is a big jump. I did do buried treasue once. Not worth the effort for a pin I already have. The pirate table and skeleton not even worth the effort for what you get. Since half of VMK has rooms of theses lol. I enjoyed the 500 credits was nice an simple no mini games so that would be the best one.

On complaint I do have is the quest on Saturdays is a waste of effort. And you have to pay 10 credits to get on a ride you are not going to ride. This quest has a pirate pin that was once on sale and a sweat shirt you can buy. Wish who ever does this will give better prizes for effort since you have to play pirates to get it. So that is at the very least 31 credits. That will not be recouped itf you have already done you credit run.

somewhat yes. They are just too long! If there are going to be 40 tasks then there should be 2 pirate games. That just takes forever! Some of the other quests werent worth playing cause the rewards have not been great. I was hoping for new pirate items as prizes this month.

I have HATED quests since they first came out the end of March last year. UGH!!!

I think it's because they show me how incredibly lame I am. Who wants that in their face?

I agree Belle...WE (DH and I) will not be getting the Magic pin. Not that we didn't try...but gave up on it as we couldn't get that high on the pirate game. DH can do capture the flag but not that one. I really do love doing quests.. I was able to do the 500 credit one myself... but don't like the mini games. ESpically when they don't give out any good prizes anymore now! I LOVED it last year when they gave out new prizes..and cool prizes that we never saw or had before! It not only made the questing fun but EXCITING to do them to see if we could get them...then you would have the feeling of accomplishment if finsihing it with pride!!!

Maybe this is another sign vmk is giving us that it won't be around much longer?? I am hoping not.. I love vmk

Yes, I did not even try the quests - the three for priate stuff this weekend. 500 credits I can get by crashing Ned in less time than quest takes, skull rock stuff? have store rooms full of them, lol. And the only one that I wanted - treasure magic is impossible for me because of pirates score. Ho Hum

Spent my time riding dark rides and ended up with 7 small world pins Good to gift!

And I could ride and still pack my stuff for the big move

I feel VMK seems a little bit seperate to have players on doing their quests.. even though yesterday there were like 8,000 players on lol. It really bugs me that they are getting rid of the quests at DLR.

I did only three quests this month, and I took a long time before ending the burried in treasure magic pin quest, I think it says all for me ...

I've done all of the quests now as they can be fun. Later on after I finished them I decided to do another quest but a vmk-ers. I looked at the prizes and they looked awesome and I really hoped to get gold mickey ears (part of the prize for about 14th place). Overall the quest took me just under 2hrs (and this was non stop btw) and then I realised that the prizes were given out according to who completed it first (and not on a timer). I ended up getting a treehouse which is still good but I gave up with anymore quests for the rest of the night.
Quests are very time consuming but at least I know I have just about enough patience to complete them. I was actually very shocked that my mum hadn't thrown me off the computer!

And actually I don't think the score is really 170, I scored 161 yesterday and was bummed thinking I didn't pass, but the quest passed me anyways on it

You're lucky! I got 165 and didnot go on! I was even playing with three other disers who were trying to help me win! I kept getting stuck in lag land and wouldn't even move. I got tired of crashing and just gave up! thanks to my "peeps" who were trying to help me out!!
