Do you have Perfect Attendance at work?

ROFLMAO!! No way NO how!!!!! We get 12 sick days a year and I use at least that many!! This week I am actually taking off one day to have a Mommy/Daughter day with my 6 year old and I am taking the next day off for a furniture delivry at my house and at the same time I scheduled a oil burner cleaning, electrician for some ceiling fans and a yard clean up...might as well make the most out of the one day!

My husband rarely gets sick and hasn't missed a day of work in 14 years.

No, I don't. I get sick very easily, I just don't have good immunity, if someone comes to work sick, I will catch it. And I don't ever get a simple cold, everything always seems to turn into bronchitis. :guilty: I get 5 sick days a year, and they always get used. Sometimes I even have to use a vacation day or two for being sick. If the people who do only truly get sick one or two days a year would actually STAY HOME those days instead of passing their germs around the office, I would miss a lot less work.

This is very complicated to answer. I am a doctor, and very rarely call in sick. Interestingly, despite seeing a schedule full of sick people nearly every day of my working life, I have very rarely, if ever, brought illnesses home to my family. Usually it works the opposite direction--son brings something home from school, passes it on to mom and dad. It is so strongly frowned upon that I would take a day off for illness, I really never do. Patients, particularly during flu season make comments about how we doctors are never sick, or at least seem not to be. Usually, if I do get a cold, it is very mild. I wash my hands about 70 times a day--no exageration. But, we don't have "sick days", we have PTO, so "sick days" are included with "vacation days", "snow days", "school holidays", "school improvement days" and my son's rare day off for illness or surgery (he is like mom and dad in that regard).

Are you kidding? I am a teaching assistant -I love all the little germ factories, but that's what they are! Nose blowing, cough spewing, dirty handed little bundles of joy that make every day at work a new and special adventure...but gosh, do they like to share!

I work part-time, but have only called in sick once in the last 12 years. The job before that I called in sick twice in seven years. I am grateful to say I rarely get sick. :)

I rarely get sick (haven't been to the Dr. in about four years) and as a consequence I rarely, if ever, miss work. Even when I do catch something that's going around I seem to get the mild version and I just feel kinda blah while my dh or dd are vomiting and running a high temp. I think I sometimes irrate them, lol.

i can honestly say i havent missed a day of work that the boss didnt miss too since october 2004,, does that count?

( and doies it matter that dw owns my business and i dont work with out her?

Besides maternity leave I have never been off of work for anything but vacations. I have been working at this job for 5 years. Being sick is not aloud here!
