I come from a family of 6.

Oldest brother is married -- twice to the same wife -- with 3 kids, and 6 grandkids.

Oldest sister is married -- also twice to the same husband -- with 1 daughter and 2 grandkids.

Next brother passed away last year -- leaving a wife, 3 kids and 2 grandkids.

Next sister is married with 3 kids, no grandkids, yet!

Then me.

Youngest brother -- single, no kids.

Two younger brothers. None of us are married but have all been with our SOs for a while

I have 2 older sisters then 2 older brothers. I am #5 I then have 2 younger sisters and 1 younger brother who passed away 8 yrs. ago. All are married except 1 younger sister who is divorced. There are 20 grandchildren and 8 (so far 1 more expected in April) great grandchildren. It is really funny in our family though because there is never a greater break then 3 yrs. There is 3 yrs. between my youngest brother and the 1st grandchild. Then there is 2 yrs. between the youngest grandchild and the oldest great grandchild. Every year or 2 another (or 2) baby comes along.

I am an only of an only! It makes for a very difficult holiday time after you get older and your parents are gone. My Dad had 2 brothers, but one passed away at age 21 and one never had children, so I have no cousins either!
