or any that you want to tell us about? :)

I dont but Cam does. He has what looks like a slice mark on his neck. He has had it since he was born. Its just a small, darker than the rest of his skin, raised line.
The doctor says he can have it removed if he wants to but it really only in the summer when hes tan. It doesnt bother him at all.

Karissa has a Strawberry Hemangioma on her head that you cant see anymore becausse of her hair. It was very pronounced when she was smaller.

SO do you have any birthmarks?

I don't but my kids have the same exact birthmarks. They have "stork bites" between their eyes right at eyebrow level and they only show up when they get REALLY mad...they will pink up then. ;) They also both have the same marks on the back of their necks. These are visible but hair covers them up. I think they are adorable. :) I think it is pretty cute they both have the same marks and they are nearly 5 years apart!

Yes, I have 3. One on my left shoulder that looks like a tiny bear paw print. One on my right hip that is almost a diamond shape. The third is on my right thigh that looks like a goat's head. Yes, very strange!

I don't (unless you count freckles), but my boys are chockful of them! My oldest has a cafe au lait birthmark on his lower back that is very very large; takes up about 1/6 of his back. It didn't begin to show until his back was exposed to the sun, and the first time I saw it I thought it was dirt!! LOL It looks like a large smear of dirt on his back, although it fades quite a bit in the winter months.

My youngest has a teeny tiny strawberry birthmark right on the edge of his lip; can't tell you how many times people have told him he's 'got something on your lip there'. It's about the size of a pinhead. He also has...I can't remember what they are called....white-white spots on his body that don't tan at all. The first one was a 'bulls-eye' on his back, a white circle with a mole at the center; he also has 5 'patches' on his legs. People ask him about them all the time, although it doesn't seem to bother him when they do.

I have this great big John Boy looking thing on my face, ;) , kidding, but I do have a little brown mark above my arm pit

Yes, I have about a two-inch cafe au lait colored birth mark on the outside of my left calf.

My DD has a light but distinct birth mark on her left upper arm...and honestly, it is in the shape of a Mickey head. I really need to photograph that one of these years. :)

MosMom-
Both my children have stork bites too. :)
DD has them on her forehead and between her eyebrows, on her back and she used to have some around her mouth and nose. The mouth and nose have faded completely over time. The forehead area is faded but still visable. And her back still has bright red stork bites on it.
DS just has them on his forehead.

And their's flare up when they are mad or crying. Or if my DD has been running around a lot and is hot.

I and my children both have a pinkish/red birthmark at the base of head/top of neck. My mom and sister have the same mark.

I had a strawberry one on my hand and had it treated as an infant. The treatment in those days was applying dry ice:eek: It worked though. I think it was worse for my mother to go thru that:D

How cool!

I don't have any! My sister has an unusual one. She has a series of freckles on her upper arm, in the very unmistakable shape of the letter "M". Our last name started with M. I was always very jealous of her "brand" when we were little kids! :) :)

My DD has two. One is a faint stork bite on her back. The other is a cafe a lait mark on the back of her calf. It's oval shaped, about an inch long. When she was a baby, people would think it was a bug on her leg and try to brush it off. :)

I have on on my ear - not on the lobe but right by my head - it's like a little hole, my younger brother has one just like it, and so did our father and grandfather.

I have two light caramel colored ones. One is on the inside back of my left knee and the other is on my left shoulder blade.

John-Cole has this really big one on his back. Its weird because it only gets dark when hes in the sun. During the winter you can barely see it but in the summer when he swims it really shows up.

Yes, I have one on my right cheek. It extends from the side of my nose to the outside of my eye, about an inch and a half by an inch and a half in size. It was bigger and more pronounced when I was young.

My dermatologist wants to try and remove some of it with a fancy new laser she has, but I'm not sure I'm going to bother.

I still occasionally have people ask me "what happened to your face?" My brothers have always claimed I have it because the doctor dropped me when I was born. ;) :)

I have a large area on my right leg and it is white as can be. There is no pigment in my skin there. It really shows up when I have some sun. Neither of my kids have birth marks.

I have one on my lower back on the left side(I think its left, I dont see it often).

DS has a birthmark in his hair... a patch of blonde hair in his light brown hair. Its not that noticable, but after being in the sun all last week in WDW, its really white now.

Your lucky she has hair. When DS was little, he was bald as bald could be and one the size of almost a quarter on the top of his head, towards his eyebrow. We had so many rude people ask us what it was. We learned to have him wear hats -- back when he was little, I found lots of outfits which had coordinating hats.

Now it's still there, although, it is no longer red. When he gets his hair cut as he likes it (short), it stands out. Just the other day, one of his friends Mom asked "What happened to your head".

Maybe I should talk to the doctor about having it removed.

I have one the size of a pencil eraser on the left side of my face.. kind of at the back part of my jaw (Im not sure how to discribe it hehe) about an inch away from my ear.

Then I have alot of TINY moles on my arms and legs.

I also have a mark on the left side of my waist/back that is a few shades lighter then my skin. You can see it alot during the summer when I get tan.

Cg, how old is DS?

My friends dd had one and she outgrew it completely, I think she was about 5?

the doctor told me that they usually outgrow them by the time the enter school.

Karissa has relaly light blonde hair so if youre looking you can see it but its on the side toward the back so it isnt as noticable. When she was little I got the same questions all the time! :( drove me nuts!

Why cant people think before they speak???

I don't have any birthmarks but my younger son has one on his forehead, a blue nevus. He will be having that removed in December. He wears his hair over it but now that he is a teenager, he is very self-conscious of it and also wants to change his hairstyle. My older son has a cafe au lait spot on his back.
