Am I the only person in the world who doesn't own an iPod? I've had quite a few people tell me I should get this song or video for my iPod and it never occured to them that I wouldn't have one. So, seriously does EVERYONE have one?

I absolutely love mine. Great for waiting on DS for soccer practice, going for walks, etc. I'm a big time music junkie though, so I am constantly rotating new stuff off and on the iPod.

I didn't buy mine. My SIL felt that I should have one so she got me a Nano for Christmas. Then DH goes out and buys a Shuffle for the car trips we take. We have XM radio but he had to have that Shuffle.

I don't know how I functioned without mine before it was thrust upon me.

I didn't see why I needed one until I got it as a gift. But I have movies on it and every single song I've ever wanted!

I have an aux input in my car stereo, so I can plug it directly into my car. I can either have a movie going on (to listen to) or when I'm in the mood, I can crank up my beloved 1970's hits and WAIL along to Bennie and the Jets. ANYTIME I WANT!

I love it. :lovestruc

And mine is one of the older ones now, too.

We have 5 in our house of 3 people.

I asked for one a couple of years ago for Mother's Day and DH didn't see the need for it but bought it anyway. That Christmas I got him an 8G Nano before we were leaving for a cruise. By February he said he needed a bigger one because he couldn't fit all his CD's on this one so he bought a 60G Classic. This is the same man that 5 months earlier didn't see the need for one.

I listen to mine in the car, also have an AUX input, and I also have a small docking station at work.

Uhm.. I have three.
I have a first generation iPod shuffle (the one that looks like a white pack of gum, not the smaller clippy ones)
A silver second generation Nano (which I, uhm, lost. It's somewhere in the house but I can't find it. Poltergeists, I say) which I got as a gift from my mom for getting my Masters degree.
A refurbished 3rd generation nano video that doesn't work for video and restarts if you actually try to find a specific song on it, but which I got for $3 (no lie) and which works in my car on shuffle play, so it's like my own little radio station. I put in all the songs, I just don't know which order they'll come in.

My husband has a 2nd generation nano.

I desperately want an iPod touch (well, really, I want the iPhone, but not until I can have a service other than AT&T with it) but that'll have to wait.

Everyone in my house (except the dogs) has their own IPod. DH and I have Classics, DSs have nanos.

Oh, husband has a shuffle for the car (the stick of gum one) and an iPod touch for every place else.

We LOVE the touch. It is perfect in all aways EXCEPT it doesn't have the wheel, so it is hard to use while driving. (You have to look at it whereas you don't need to look at one with the wheel).

We will be getting iPhones soons, methinks. I just need to justify the monthly rate charges. We already have AT&T so we're good there.

I have nothing!

I have an LG Chocolate phone, that is also an MP3 player, but I haven't quite figured it all out yet and I need a much bigger memory card.

I'm with Footnotegirl on the IPod Touch thing!:)

I have two, a mini in the car and a video one to take on airplanes.

I have a 60 GB classic. My first iPod was a first generation Nano which was gift from my dad. The company he worked for gave away two iPods to employees as a part of bonus. After almost two years I got the 60 GB classic because I have a lot of CD's and download a of remix and acoustic songs from iTunes. The Nano was working fine a few months ago until I dropped while rearranging things in my house. I use it mostly when I'm jogging, exercising, cleaning the house, and I sometimes listen to it on a speaker dock at work when I'm not in conference calls, meetings or talking on the phone. I really don't use it in the car because the FM adapters drain the batteries a lot. I have XM in my car though.

I have the T-mobile G1 which plays mp3s and Itune songs. That way I don't have to carry two different devices.

Only one out of 4 of us has one. DS10 got a nano for his birthday. He is a music addict and loves it (and I love that he loves it when we are on long car rides;))

DD12 doesn't want one. I thought she would after she was her brother's in action for a while but does not seem to car.

DH and I have enough gadgets to remember to charge without adding anything else, though I am tempted.

I had the 80g video iPod and recently went to a 32g Touch. I LOVE the touch. I love the apps. I am addicted to stupid apps!!

I have a Sansa Fuze.

I live in NYC and take mass transit so I use it a LOT. I did have an Ipod mini but the battery was no longer holding a charge and I chose to get a different brand; I don't have to use itunes and it was a lot cheaper.

I've had the Ipod Video for about 3 years now and love it. It's 30gig, has a little over 7000 songs on it(and a few videos). I take it on walks, and on trips. In the house I plug it into a boombox thing in the kitchen. I don't forsee a time when I'd want to be without one, and I'm sure I'll be buying one of the upgrades at some point.:)

I have nothing...nada
My girls have cheap mp3s which are lost... but my DD13 got an IPhone from her dad...so she listens to stuff on that..

I have my Disboards and HGTV, I need nothing else :rotfl:
