I was going shopping at the mall with friends, it was raining so I pulled up in front of the mall to get the stroller out of the trunk.......... (inside trunk opener). The car was running, my keys were in the car and the door was locked. I realized it as soon as I tried to open the door........ Thank heavens for AAA.

Love AAA, had to use them when my car broke down and needed a tow, that right there paid for the membership for the year. Great Service

AAA plus is GREAT!!!!! We've had it for years on the whole family DH myself 3 DD's We also have the AAA for RV too for the harleys. NEVER have we not ended up using enough tows that it's didn't pay for it's self. DD has broken down 90 miles from home or where she was going more times than I can count.

My complaints are usually the operator answering phone is not local an has NO IDEA where I am when I need a tow.( just call the local tow truck comp I'm tellin you to call an HE WILL KNOW WHERE I AT) lol. Tow truck driver on Thanksgiving last year bent the axle on my daddys car. AAA did remburse my parents but still was a pain to deal with an should have never happened.

On that same call DH had set there so long with my parents with his 4 ways on that when we got ready to go after tow truck got parents car loaded that his battery was dead (this is a new 5 yr battery) DH hollered at tow truck driver an he backed up gave us a jump OHHHHHHH we got charged for the 2nd call to AAA even tho the tow truck was already there. We still had plenty of calls left for the year & was going to get new card at beginning of year but still when tow truck already there it shouldn't have been a 2nd call.

I have AAA for the automotive sense of security-roadside assistance, battery jumps, keys locked in the car. Everything else is a bonus. We did save a little on our December trip...$100 maybe.

My mother insisted I get AAA when I got my license, and I still have it. It's kindof like health insurance...it's just a cost you think about cutting, but, man, if you need it...it's priceless.

Having someone come and change my tire on a snowy night while I'm trapped on the side of the road was priceless.

In addition to that it always saves me $ on hotels.

Our outlets (Wrentham, MA) offers a savings booklet if you show your AAA card. I've saved a lot that way over the years too.

DITTO!!! I've used AAA to change a car battery, change a tire...

I always use AAA for car rental, hotel, and any other discount I can squander. At DIS this past trip (value season) I saved $68 (total) on our ASMU hotel ($17 per night-ish, or 20% off).

I LOVE AAA. We get it as a gift from my DH's grandparents every year. Probably the best gift we get!!

Yes, passport photos are free here also.

I thought of one perk not already mentioned, the Richard Petty Driving Experience offers a discount at the WDW Speedway location only. I don't remember the amount, but I think it was around 20%, so for the Rookie driving experience that was at least $40 - $60.

I thought he had the keys. ("He being my brother in law.")

He thought I had the keys.

The keys were in my winter coat pocket that I had thrown in the back of his rental car, that he locked after we packed the luggage from the hotel room

We spent ten minutes going over the room, the car, etc. Whoops. I thought my sister-in-law's head was going to explode when we figured it out.

AAA came and opened the locked doors and we all got to the Orlando International Airport on time. (Good thing I was getting on a different airplane.) Phew. Cheers for AAA.
