Do You Have A TV In Your Bedroom?

Besides, we have 5 kids in the house and our teenagers are often up later than we are, so sometimes background noise is a good thing. :thumbsup2

Same here. TV in the bedroom is a necessity. Turned up volume can distort any "other" noises.

:lmao: Yup! Loved it when they came out with the music radio like channels on our cable. Yes, we have always had a tv in our bedroom and we've been married 18 years.

I've had a TV in my bedroom since I was 10 years old! On work and school nights, I usually go to bed earlier than my DH. I like to be in bed around 9:00 to watch TV, knit, read and wind down. Sometimes a kid or two crawls in for a few minutes and we watch a funny show together. On weekends, I dump all the clean laundry on the bed and watch TV while I hang or fold it. I couldn't imagine not having a TV in the bedroom.

Once, we stayed at a bed and breakfast and were dismayed that our room didn't have a TV. I like to watch my shows and keep up with the news. Call us weird, addicted, whatever. That's the way we like it!

And it stays on all night. I couldn't sleep without it.
Nancy

Must be the name! I also have TV on all night and I sleep just fine. As a matter of fact if the power goes out or the cable goes down it wakes me right up cause it is too quiet.

My husband got used to it really quick and now he needs the TV on all the time too. And yes we are TV junkies in this house. We have TVs in the bedrooms..the kids have had them since they were little, and also in the living room and family room.

Oh my goodness paint woody!!! Or jessica rabbit she's a disney character :)

Im not married yet but we have no tv however we bring in the laptop at night into the bedroom and watch Hulu till we fall asleep and i set the PC to go to sleep after 30 minutes or so :)

Yep, have since I was in college. We have 3 tv's in the house one in each family room and one in our bedroom. We won't let the kids have one but they have access to any of the others. Our situation is a bit different. My hubby goes to bed early and he heads up after dinner and watches tv while getting his things ready for work the next day and getting ready for bed. He watches until his "lights out" time. Rarely do we watch together up in our room. I will watch in our room while folding laundry or something. I would hate not having a tv in my bedroom.

No, no TV in the bedroom, never have had one there.

We only have one TV, use it for movies and netflix, no longer even have any cable/television service at our house, freaks that we are.:)

But, both my Dh and I have been known to watch movies on our portable DVD player in the bedroom. He watches explostions, I watch chick flicks.

I have a TV in my bedroom that I usually watch before I go to sleep at nights and in the early mornings.

We do have a tv in our bedroom and I LOVE IT:thumbsup2

Ill be honest, I watch a lot of tv. I dont actually watch tv when the shows are on, because we had a TIVO now a dvr...this is the best invention ever;)

We have a big screen tv in the living room which is about 12 yrs old, the picture isnt all that great. This is where the kids watch most of their tv. I love my tv in the bedroom, like somebody else said, its my sanctuary...I normally watch different shows from the rest of the family, so while they are down here...I sneak upstairs and watch a quick show of "Judge Judy" or whatever else has been recorded. I absolutely love watching tv before bed. I go to bed earlier then my husband..He stays down here and watches some boring show;).. I watch whatever has been recorded while laying in bed. We do enjoy some of the same shows, in those cases he comes upstairs and we cuddle and watch "Survivor" or "Amazing Race" or whatever..I would be lost without my tv in the bedroom.

So we went over paint charts last night but couldn't choose anythng yet. What color do I need to paint a Jessica rabbit and a woody?:confused3. But I like the idea about turning the volume up. I'll use that next time she says "But the boys might hear."

Nope. We have one TV in the house and don't turn it on very often. We have absolutely no interest in having one in our bedroom.

TV rots your brain and lowers your IQ. ;)

Unlike posting on the internet? ;)

No tv in the bedroom.

We used to have 2 in the house, one upstair in the living room and one down stairs in the family room. When we upgraded to a flat screen we eliminted both of the old tv's and now only have one downstairs in the family room. I was originally against eliminating the one upstaris, but we replace the tv with an iPod docking stations and now have music playing (usually Mouse World Radio) while we eat meals rather than having the tv on.

I'll bet if she knew that you were mocking her here, with plenty of supporters too, she'd be really turned on.

I've had a tv in my bedroom for 25 years and DH & I have always had one in our guest room. All of our guests are appreciative that it's there. I usually watch the late night news as I'm falling asleep, sometimes I watch the weather or morning shows while getting ready for work and it's nice to be able watch tv when I'm sick and want to stay in my room so I don't spread my germs to DH & DD. Bonus: our laundry room in the 2nd floor with the bedrooms so DH gets to watch tv while he folds laundry.
