<font color=#0066FF>The other day I was clothes shopping and I met up with a friend I work with. She decided to hang out with me while I tried on clothes.
I showed her an outfit I had picked out and she looked at me funny. She pointed out that I dress preppy. The outfit BTW was a light pink polo shirt and pink plaid cotton shorts.
I never thought I dressed preppy but when I looked at myself in the dressing room mirror the only thing that was missing was a sweater tied around my neck and a tennis racket. My name should've been Bambi or Buffy.
I looked in my closet later and sure enough I have preppy clothes. When did that happen?
Anyway do you have a particular style of clothes you wear?<font>

"fat lady" :( I need to change my style though

In a word.....COMFY!!!

Having met you, I was thinking more along the lines of "kind and classy lady" - sorry to be disagreeable.

Stretchy jean pants and tank tops. I guess you can say i dress with all of the newest fashions. I dunno what to call it, casual maybe? i wear whatever i am comfortable in!!

*Trendy!! thats what you call it! hehe thanks Jules, i couldn't think of the word!

since I own a lot of Roxy surf t-shirts, I guess you could call it sorta surfer...

but mostly, casual and comfy!

No real style here. I am the type of person that when I find something comfortable and I like, then I keep it forever.

:bounce::wave::bounce:

No classic style here, but I do have a style and it's called "SALE " Which means I'm usually behind the style.

Then again there are some styles I don't want to be in front of.

I don't really have a particular style - but if I had to pin it down, I guess you could call it sort of hippie,casual....
I also have conservative, classic wardrobe for when I need to look professional.

No style...I'm a slob..:o

No style for me either, although I kinda always wanted one. :D
I just wear what I like if it's comfy. I'd actually live in PJ's if I thought I could call it a style..........

My friends, co-workers and children make fun of me because they think I'm "prudish" in my style and I will buy anything in any shade of Khaki. I bought 2 more pair of RL khaki pants yesterday and my DD said, "Mom, if you just wash one pair and wear them everyday no one will ever know the difference. They all look the same." Co-workers say I would have to go naked if they stopped making khaki. I love winter because I look even better in 12 layers of clothing. Love turtlenecks and even wear short sleeved ones in the summer because I don't like to show chest or neck. I wore a floor length gown for son's wedding in June and my friends could only remark that they were shocked that I showed so much skin. No real reason for it, I'm just a little odd I guess.

Kath!!!...sorry but I too will have to be disagreeabe.. :)

I have no style at all...kinda of like casual and comfortable. I go for more colors then style. Love my jean shorts, pants and skirt...love anything in red and yellow. Comfy t-shirts...sneakers or slip ons...I dunno, I have weird taste I guess. ;) Should not suprise anyone....lol

Probably classic bordering on preppy. I don'tr do too much with the real trendy stuff, as I think that stuff coms and goes. I shop a lot from LL Bean, Lands End, Eddie Bauer and Dress Barn. Love Liz Claiborne when I can find her on sale for a reaaly great price!

Well, when I really want to get dressed up I wear a Disney t-shirt and shorts or long pants, depending on the season. :)
