Do you have a "never again" list? Which restaurants are on it and why?

We only have one....ABC Commissary, gross food that we threw away, not even half of it, because it was not edible.

I could also say Hollywood and Vine but we have only been there once, I will have to dine there at least once more before making a final verdict with that one.

Le Cellier-mediocre steaks, slow service.
Planet Hollywood-this place has reallllllllly went downhill. I was there way back when it first opened and went back for my last trip. The food is awful.

Pizza Planet and ABC Commissary. Hmm, both at Hollywood Studios. I guess Ill be packing a lunch the next time I want to ride RnRC!

Boma - I know lots of people like it but it really wasn't our cup of tea. I'm glad we've experienced it once but we have no desire to go back. I will say the service was excellent though.

San Angel in the Mexican pavillion. It was so dark, we couldn't read the menu. The service was ok, but our server spoke so little English, he could hardly gather our order; but he was attentive and tried. The food on the other hand was not to our taste. Maybe our tastes just are for a more "American version" of Mexican food, but we preferred the outside CS place to this restaurant.
I also was not that impressed with Boma. I'd heard so much hype about this place, I really was looking forward to it, but was disappointed. I can't say "never again" as it wasn't bad food, but it just wasn't all I expected it to be.

This is exactly how we felt about Boma. It is so hypped and it was just ok to us. We haven't ruled it out as a "never again" though, we'd give it a second chance but would try to go a less busy time (we ate about 6:30pm and it was really, really busy).

Le Cellier. Cheap, cheap steaks, completely overpriced for the quality, hurried, rushed service, and I'm practically sitting in a stranger's lap because of the seating. There was actually more space between my table mates and I at Biergarten than the people sitting next to us at Le Cellier.

If/when Le Cellier goes through the "change" to bring it back to what it once was, I'll give it another shot. We had good meals there in 2000, 2001, but from about 2003 forward, the meat quality has gone far downhill.

LeCellier has suffered the same fate as so many others since the big dining plan and free dining etc. became such a big deal. SO MANY places that were a lot better have gone downhill. :sad1:

Mine will make many reservation hunters happy. Ours is Kona, specifically for breakfast, but breakfast was so bad that dinner is never a priority of ours either.

The Tonga Toast was bad (and the grease from it gave me an upset stomach), the omelet was strictly average at best (nothing that I couldn't get at Denny's) and the server was so thrilled to meet the family sitting behind us (who was from her hometown) that we ceased to exist.

We won't be back for breakfast, and aren't rushing to try their dinner anytime soon.

We tried Kona for dinner a few years ago and all agreed to never return. Service was horrible, waitress yelled at my son, and the food was not any better than a CS restaurant. Just didn't see what everyone likes so much.

Out of everywhere we ate last year I would say Chef Mickey's is the main one I really don't want to do again (until we have kids then once for them). The food was just cold and didn't taste good. I hated trying to rush back and forth so you didn't miss a character. The other one I didn't care for much was Tutto Italia. Others in our group loved it but I just wasn't a fan. Nothing major, just not for me.

Now my favorites of our trip were LeCellier and Ohana:rotfl: My filet at LeCellier was so tender and full of flavor, our server was great and we were seated back in the corner so it was nice and quiet/romantic for DH & I. At Ohana, it was a long dinner but we had a group of 9 and it was during fireworks but our server was great and our food tasted good without being dry like I had heard about. We are doing both again so hopefully we go on a good day!

Donalds Breakfast at AK (although we haven't been since it moved to Tusker House). Terrible experience as DS's first character meal...the characters came by so quikly, they are blurry in ALL of our pictures! The meal was so-so, but I was so disappointed in the character interaction that we won't go back.

My first choice (and bday TS) was WCC for our '09 trip and I felt so bad that I made the rest of the family go there. I got the skillet and it was terribly dry and flavorless, it took FOREVER to eat, and overall, I was just not too impressed!

However, on my list to do every time: CP breakfast, Teppan Edo, and Kona Cafe for dinner! Awesome meals :thumbsup2

Boma - I know lots of people like it but it really wasn't our cup of tea. I'm glad we've experienced it once but we have no desire to go back. I will say the service was excellent though.

I hated Boma as well. We were there for breakfast, though, and my husband said I was really grumpy in general, so that could be the issue.

Tangerine Cafe. Not a big fan of the stuff they served there. I might be conscripted to eat again in Marrakesh, but only if there was something without couscous, or hummus. Blech!

Ours is Restaurant Marrakesh. The food left a lot to be desired and the waiter took way too much time in between table visits; it was almost as if we never saw him.

Sci-Fi!
TERRIBLE food, TERRIBLE service, neat atmosphere.
Won't ever go back there again!

I personally didn't care for Boma but I think that was a matter of personal taste, not because the food was delivered cold and tasteless (like at Sci-Fi).

Our never again list includes:

Biergarten--we hated the food. We were excited to try it one year when we had free dining, and we hated every minute of it. The atmosphere was nice, but the food was probably the worst we've ever had in Disney.

Mama Melrose--we had the worst service here. Our waiter mumbled everything he said so that we couldn't understand him and the food was terrible.

WCC-This wasn't a terrible meal, but it was completely unmemorable for us. We never had a desire to return.

Cinderella's Royal Table--way too expensive for what it is. We ate here before it became a character meal, and even then we thought it wasn't worth it. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either.

I have not been to Akershus since it went all princess all the time. I liked it, but it's too child-centered now. (I generally do not do any character meals)

I can't say never (will depend on what friends want when I travel with them) but I'm tempted to put all the Disney buffets on this list anyway. I might go back to Tusker House lunch, I liked that one last time I went (that was at least 2-3 years ago) but it's much easier to go to the bar at Yak & Yeti.

Havent' seen any reason at all to go back to Tony's.
