x-posted with some changes:
I was looking back at some family pictures and when I was little, we'd always post right in front of the Mickey flowers in front of MK. We also had quite a few pic's of me on the top of the rocks over on Tom Sawyer's Island.
At EPCOT, as I've gotten older, it's in front of the fountain with the geosphere in the background.
Looking at my kids, other than a pic on the tea cups, I don't have a consistent one, and I'd really like that.
When we were at DL Nov. I had two pictures I really liked and would like to see similar ones in the future.
One is on the "esplanade" between DCA and DL, they are standing or sitting on the end of the benches that have the cut out Mickey on the ends. You def. can tell they're at Disney somewhere (though I'm sure their lanyards and pins might give them away too )
The other one is right in front of Small World. (which of course, is different at WDW.)
Our last trip to WDW, I didn't get as many pic's as I'd like. Most of them were focused on the characters.
What's your favorites and must haves.

I take lots of pictures but my "must have" is of my DD14 with the big troll in the Norway shop. We have 7 photos of that (one for each trip) starting when she was 3 years old and small enough to sit in the crook of his arm. Now at 14 she's 5'9" and has to stand! She still likes to think she could sit on him and would if she wouldn't knock him over!:rotfl2: She loves looking at all those pictures and I don't think she would ever NOT have me take that picture at this point!! I'll get another one in 34 days during our next trip! :cloud9:

We have several, one of which was removed this summer:

1. DH and DS posed in front of Walt and Mickey in the same posture, DH pointing and DS with arm crooked like Mickey.

2. DH and DS under the parrot outside PoTC to gauge DS's height from trip to trip. (Oh well)

3. DD in front of the Buzz Lightyear box in MGM near Muppets.

4. DS and DD in firetruck in back of Muppets exit.

5. DS and DD on the speeders in front of Star Tours.

If I'd been really thinking on our first trip I could have gotten a lot more comparison shots. Note to first time trip takers: get a list of photo opportunities so you aren't too blissed out to stop and get the shot! ;)

We always pose in font of the castle. We always have to get pictures with Mickey and whatever princesses we can.

Every year we go, I have my picture taken sitting with the flowers shaped like Mickey's head at the entrance of the MK. I've been doing it for almost 15 years now (since I was 5), it's amazing to look at each picture and see how different I look the following year!

I always have to leave with a picture of my girlfriend me and a character doesnt matter who, but i prefer one i have not meet. :)

We take a new pic of one or both of us having Sasparilla in the Rose&Crown.

when we went to wdw when i was about 6 and my brothers were 8 and 11 my mother took a picture of us in the mexico pavillion. we each wore a sombrero and held maracas. now, at 28, my mother makes us take the picture every year. the bigger sombreros have changed since we first took the pic. however, there is still a little hat just like the one i wore then. my mother still makes me wear it and i look ridiculous. i think she does it to torment me. :) i try to go every summer w/friends, so i make them wear the little hat too!

For our family the MUST HAVE photo or pose has always been infront of the Parks icon such as the Castle and the Tree of Life.

Mine used to be pictures of my husband in the various hats around the World (I especially loved the Viking helmet with the blonde braids in Norway), but now that he's my ex... :sad1:

Well, let's make that    :cheer2: :woohoo: :bounce: :jumping3: :Pinkbounc

This is ours too! Every year same picture. I am sure it is a popular one.

We have a shot of my dd sitting in one of the yellow chairs in Minnie's house in ToonTown. She first sat there as a soon to be 6 y/o, now she is looking forward to sitting in it as a 13 y/o. We get her in that chair every single trip!!! We also try to do the Chef Mickey photo at our first on-site meal each trip. Huge collection of the magnet photos on our fridge from there.

We have two. One is in Epcot, in front of the statue fountian of Neptune. My children are grown now, so now the granddaughters sit there on the edge. The other is in the Magic Kingdom near the Tiki Room. There are Tiki gods in a semi-circle there and they always posed there. Again, now the granddaughters do it!!! It is a tradition!! Anyone who goes with us must pose at both these spots!:rotfl: pixiedust: pixiedust:

That's too funny! I have a great shot of my oldest dd at 3, 2nd trip, in those chairs and then ended up with another at 7, 5th trip, in the chair and thought - darn it! I should have been taking a picture here every year! Another one I have of my daughter is in front of the hippo veiwing area on the exploration train in AK at 2, 1st trip, and then another (accidently again) if her in the same spot when she was 6, 4th trip. I was looking at the pics from the last two trips with our newest additions seeing if any of them match and then match previous trips, but so far just Mickey at Toontown does.

We actually thought of this idea on our last trip. We took our DS of 9 months. He was just standing. We decided the fountain behind the castle because that is something that would probably be there for a very long time. We want a yearly picture there. Also in Epcot at MouseGear, we will have him setting in the plush pyramid again. Also, we gave him his first Disney haircut in the MK. We want to do this every year too.

Our traditional spot to take our daughters' photo has disappeared! We used to have them sit on the bench outside Minnie's house, but it wasn't there when we were there in April! :sad2:

Thankfully, we had a backup - in front of Flik near the Honey I shrunk the kids playground at MGM.

It is fun to compare the pictures over the years.

we have one of me next to buttons at BB, since i was about 4 i think, and also at seaworld in front of the lighthouse on the decking

We started when my DD was 4. The Cinderella statue fountain behind the castle to the left. She was bearly as tall as the wall of the fountain. She is 18 now and I can't wait to take it again this August!!

We generally have to have the usuals, in front of the castle, with Mickey, and with the Princesses. But the one I make them take is with a little wooden Indian Statue on Main Street on the right side of the street as you head towards the castle. It's great to see the kids grow up by our Indian friend.

We always get a family shot with the goofy on the bench in front of tony's
