Do you guys think the paid LL for RSR and RotR are worth the cost?

Totally not worth it for Radiator Springs, Rise, Runaway Railroad, etc… but I do it every time for my friend and I, and I thoroughly enjoy her company. I just can’t bring myself to those lines when there is a way around them. Disney milks me for every penny… I should add it up, but I probably spend $200 or more just from buying our way to the front over three days, I hate it so much.

RotR is a yes because we don't want to waste more than an hour in one attraction (so we buy unless the line is shorter). RSR we usually just do single rider or skip. It's been around long enough and while most family members love it, it's a lot of money when you have a bigger family.

In years we have magic keys, I don't feel the need to buy, but lately we've just been doing 1 trip per year and I feel like there's more pressure to squeeze everything in.

RSR single rider works well because the seating configuration leaves a lot of empty seats. Who shows up to the park with a party that is a multiple of 3? Test Track is the same story. Incredicoaster SR works pretty well, but I do not recommend SR for RnRC. Standby is usually not much longer if it is at all.

Which brings me to Space Mountain (DL). Fresh Baked has a video where he showed the SR line so it does exist but I don't think you can count on it. I've never used it.

Edit:
It does not hurt to go to the entrance and ask. Would appreciate a report back if you do.

There aren't any Ramen houses in the parks are there? I love Bengal Barbecue but I think it might be time to switch it up a bit.
Try the San Fransokyo area of DCA. Not sure what is there since the remodel. Otherwise, no.

I agree with most here. Use Single Rider for RSR -that's a no-brainer. While I think RSR can be worth it sometimes, it's also pretty rideable without it if you time it right. If it's busy you can always go ahead and get it, but just wait and see.

My husband uses the Space single rider since I can no longer ride that one. You are correct that it is not always available, and the only way to know if it is available is to walk over to the ride and look for the SR queue or ask a CM. It is definitely worth asking though! Last Thursday even though the single rider queue was set up, the sign was turned away slightly and no one was waiting in the queue area. DH went up to the CM at exit and asked if they were running SR and was told yes, they just weren’t staffing the outer queue area. He practically walked right on to the ride he said. I saw one other person go in shortly after him. When the SR option isn’t being advertised, it tends to be pretty quick. The wait is longer when people are more aware and the CMs are queuing them.

Yeah, I can probably bear the wait for that one if needed. But RotR I've never known to have less than a two-hour queue.

They are (successfully) testing SR on RotR in DHS RN. Hopefully DL RotR SR will not be far behind.
Until that happens, I don't recommend RD because EVERYONE does that and it's literally as far from the entrance as you can go. It's also notoriously unreliable at RD. Meanwhile you are jogging past a 1/2 dozen rides that are all walk-on at RD. Do those, let the hordes mob RotR, then keep an eye on the RotR standby length. It usually drops to about an hour later in the day and stays there.

Are there any good candy stores besides the one on Main Street next to the Penny Arcade? Specifically for sour candy (and I mean actual sour, like Warhead or Toxic Waste sour)?

Best ones I bought were the Cherry-Lemon Car's Wheels, and I didn't see them last time I was there.

Most of the candy stores sell the same candy. Pooh Corner has a candy store. In DTD, Marcelines an dWorld of Disney have candy. In DCA, you can check out Trolley Treats or Bing Bong's Sweet Stuff. There is also some candy in the hotel stores.

So the one on Main Street will likely have everything that can be found elsewhere?

What's in rotation right now? I always bring around 8 packs of candy home from my trip. The best one I remember is those Cherry-Lemon Cars Wheels, but I didn't see them last time I was there. Looking for something equally as sour, if not moreso.

I don't keep track of the bagged candy. I'm a caramel apple person myself. The rest of my family are Nuttles fans.

Oh, as silly as it is, I'm contemplating getting one of those Mickey Mouse Bubble Wands as a souvenir. Yeah, weird to see a 36 year old man walking around with those (though I'd probably get it on the way out). Are those rechargeable/refillable or are they just disposed of once exhausted?

It was these:

Sadly, Marcelino’s in DTD is closed for renovation right now and only has a small cart. This weekend, they had a few candy apples, Tigger Tails, churro toffee (thank goodness!!), and bagged toffee. My DD was hoping for a cake pop, which the CM said they used to sell in the cart but they ran out of refrigerated storage so they don’t have them now. I did not see any candy at all on the Marceline’s cart. Hopefully when it reopens in the big new space, they will have a lot more options!

What's your opinions on Earl of Sandwich? I was going to try it last time but my sister recommended against it, said it was pretty disappointing.

I'm typically a light eater throughout the day when I'm at the park, have a snack every couple hours like a pretzel or a churro, and then a big meal towards the end of the trip at Bengal Barbecue, usually two Banyan skewers, an Outback Skewer and then either a Safari Skewer or a Tiger Tail.
