You need to start with -- I never thought those stories in your magazine happened to anyone for real until I was alone in my dorm one night....

According to my DH and DD 13, I do. They say I have a story for everything. They've been saying this for a while and lately I've wondered if they are right and thay are. Thanks to them pointing it out to me I notice it more and I do, I have a story for everything. Someday they'll appreciate my stories.

Coming from a family of 10 I have my share of stories but the truth is I'd much rather listen to your stories than tell my own. It's not that I'm shy or particularly quiet because I'm not. We have cookouts fairly often and usually have a bonfire. After it's dark everyone usually gathers around the fire and we all chit chat about stuff and sooner or later the stories start. It's so cool to sit and listen to stories you've never heard from people you've known for years. You really get to know people better when they start telling stories from their lives.

Well I have a crazy husband and 5 kids that range in age from 4yo twins to an 18 year old. So there you go, with that alone, I could spin some heads im sure

I have lots of stories too, so don't get me started! Most of ours revolve around kids and dogs too. I have a LOT of funny stories about dog shows! That movie "Best In Show" had stereo typical characters in it, and I know most of them!

I've got the opposite problem. I'm always the listener while everyone else tells me their life stories. I even know the janitor at works whole past. He served in WW2 during some historic battle, very interesting.

It does seem like I have a story for everything. And man, can I go off on some rabbit trails. I have to be careful talking to some people at work who are similar, because before we know it, we'll have chatted for an hour! We'll start with some work related question, and by the time we're done, we've covered 10 different subjects!

I think part of it is because I have a good memory for people, so when a question comes up, I usually know someone who has had a similar experience. It drives DH crazy! I'll say something like "remember when so and so had this happen?" He'll say "No, we haven't seen that person in 10 years, of course I don't remember!"

I have some good stories, but I try to be judicious about telling them too frequently, or to people that might not be interested

LOL. Well, according to my stepdad and my friends I have an "exploded family", so that in itself has a lot of stories involved. And there are plenty of other stories that don't involve the family. I'm only 17, and according to my teachers I have better stories than most adults. I think I could probably write a book.
