Do you go to the parks in the same order every visit?

Now I haven't been nearly as much as the rest of you, but the last two times we hit Epcot first because we stayed over there and then the next day Magic Kingdom.

This time we will still go to Epcot on arrival day (staying over there again) but this time we decided to do Animal Kingdom our second day and not going to Magic Kingdom until our third day, :upsidedow then the next day HS and then all my other days which I won't bore you with. :p (Epcot a night for most days)

It feels weird to be waiting until the third day for Magic Kingdom, but I love Animal Kingdom and my boyfriend has never been on Expedition Everest (wasn't built last time he went). Also it works out because then we get a morning EMH at MK.

What are your patterns?

(I know everybody is bummed out due to EMH changes and problems with MDE, but I'm just ridiculously excited about this upcoming trip and I promise to contain my enthusiasm to my own threads :) )

I do a different routine every time. I ALWAYS go to easywdw.com and plan my days around Josh's recommended parks for each day. He is spot on!

I do a different routine usually each time, but if it is a short 4-day trip, I always do AK first and MK last.

We never do the same parks first or last. It seems to be whatever the park recommendations are or what we gave time for the first day given our flight times are always different.

We never go to the parks in the same order. Prior to MBs and the new FP+ system! we played Disney Bus Roulette, jumping on the first bus that came along unless we had ADRs. We always have hoppers, so if we got to a park and it was crowded, we hopped to another park.

We've always had a tradition that on our first day, we'd get to the bus stop early and take the first bus to arrive, no matter which park it was going to. I guess that tradition goes out the window now that FP+ is dictating plans.

We usually do them in the same order starting and ending with MK...based on (the now former pm EMH there) :rolleyes1 will do the same this year even though EMH have changed boo hiss...

First two trips where we got to plan (on own w/out parents), I never even looked at crowd calendars, just picked parks

This time I still planned first and then looked at a crowd calendar and turns out I picked the right days by coincidence!

We always schedule differently for each trip depending on length, park hours, etc. However, I do prefer to visit MK on arrival day, its what makes me feel like I am finally there, seeing the castle (and if i can wing it, Wishes :thumbsup2 )

This. :thumbsup2

The only time I didnt was we did do EPCOT on Christmas Day. It was fine, and it was our choice.

We usually go over the same week. We pick our parks based on the crowd calendar, so our schedule ends up pretty similar, but not exactly the same.

This is what we are doing in Dec. But our last 3 trips have been, MK, EP, HS, AK, HS, MK. 6 days is most we've been until this year. This trip is 10 days (2 being 1/2 park days) but still awesome!! We are going to MK first half day but then so we can do Josh recommendations won't be back until Day 6. That feels weird but DH said lets just go with it!!

We look at crowd calendars and book ADRs based on those, thus dictating our park days. We generally do MK first and last unless it's the worst park for the day. We always do all 4 parks, usually 2MK, 2 a Epcot, 1 AK, 1 DHS, no water parks.

Love "Disney Bus Roulette!" Have to remember that one; but that is the way we do it too. First bus is where we end up; how long we stay might be another story, depending what we feel like doing as the day progresses. The less planning we do, the less stress of trying to meet those self-imposed goals. After all, it's a vacation.

We usually do them in the same order for the first 4 days and the last days

MK
AK
EPCOT
HS

The last four days are usually

HS
AK
EPCOT
MK
